Chapter 22

"You won't reject it!" He said as he also put his lunch box away.

He stood up and lead the way, while I followed.

Could this be? Could he be my very first friend? But... I don't know.

"So what are you doing after school?" He started a conversation.

"Nothing." I replied bluntly.

"Well, I... I was thinking if-" Before he can even finish his sentence, someone pulled me by the wrist, away from Simon.

He had this shock face on mix with frightened. I look towards the person who had pulled me and it was none other than... the Playboy. We turned around the corner and I let him drag me even more before I had enough and pulled my hand back to me.

"What is your problem?" I ask, half angry and half confuse.

He just stood there and I waited for his answer but didn't even get any even one word.

"Hey! I'm talking to you!" I turned him around to face me and he did something I didn't expect him to do.

He hugged me!

Shalnark's POV (Ten minutes earlier)

I was counting down the time, excited to see Y/n at lunch time since this is the only class that we are not the same. She has Geography while I have Digital Technology. I was eager to see her, which I don't know why but I just am.

Finally, the bell had rung and I immediately got my things and rush toward Y/n's Geography class. When I got there, every one was already coming out and I waited for her, but she never came.

I went inside her classroom and she wasn't there. The teacher was the only person there.

"Excuse me but, where is Y/n?" I ask Matthew, the Geography teacher and he look at me.

"She was the first one who left the class before the bell even rung." He said and I smiled.

"Thank you." And with that, I search for her around the school.

Where could she be?

While I was walking, I saw Jess with her two other minions walking towards me. This gave me an idea that they might have done something to her again.

"Hey baby~" Jess sung while running her hands to my face and down to my chest but I held her hand beforr she could reach my chest.

"What have you done with Y/n?" I ask with a hint of anger in the tone of my voice.

"What do you mean? We haven't seen her, haven't we girls?" She ask her minions and they nod.

"She's telling the truth." Lily confirms and I look into Jess' s eyes to see if she was lying, which showed me that she wasn't so I left and walk pass them to continue finding where Y/n could be.

I was walking up the stairs, checking every halway even the canteen to see if she was there but to no luck, there's no sign of her. Suddenly, I heard James and John talking something about Y/n and... Simon being a cute couple.

Couple? Y/n should belong to me! Wait, what am I even saying?

Without wasting any more time, I ran up the stairs, pass the both of them and made it to the halway where I saw Y/n and Simon walking ahead. They were talking about something I couldn't really hear so I rush to her, grabbing her wrist and dragging her with me.

All I could feel is anger and... jealousy? Why do I feel jealousy? It's not like I love her or something like that. Wait, I... love her? Could it be? I... I've fallen in love with...

I felt her let go of my hand so I stop on my track.

"What is your problem?" She ask, half angry and half confuse.

I just stood there. I felt her eyes staring at my back and I couldn't move nor say anything. My body froze as the thought of 'Falling in love with her' came in my mind. My heart skip a beat and butterflies started appearing in my tummy.

"Hey! I'm talking to you!" She turned me around to face her.

I stared at her eyes for a moment before my body moved at itself and pulled her towards me.

"Hey! What are you doing?!" She tried to get out of my grasp but my body didn't let her.

"I said let me go!" She was still trying.

Soon, she gave up and give out a tired sigh while looking up to me, staring at my blue eyes. My heart started racing as I got lost in her e/c orbs and I felt my body heating up.

"Are you alright?" She questioned.

"Can you let me go now please?"

Love her? Have I fallen in love with her without me realising it?

I felt a pain on my forehead which brought me back to reality and that's when I realize that Y/n had flick me on the forehead.

"Ow! What was that for?!" I ask irritated and she gave me an 'Isn't it obvious' look.

"What do you mean?" I was confuse at the moment.

"Geez! I don't even get you! You were the one who drag me all the way here and now you're the one who's angry?!" She said annoyed and started to walk away.
