"I was waiting for Y/n." Simon replied and it was obvious that he was trying to be confident.
"Why?" I could feel Shalnark glaring even more.
"So I could eat with her." This time, Simon was talking bravely and manage to glare back.
"Come on Y/n, let's eat somewhere else." Shalnark grab my wrist and was about to pull me but Simon said something to stop Shalnark.
"She's not yours Shalnark! You don't own her!" Simon protested.
"Oh she will be soon and soon you'll know that she's only mine and a low guy like you don't stand a chance towards her!" By what Shalnark had said, I yank my hand away from him and he look at me in anger.
"Hey! Control your temper Playboy! He's right you know." I stated and he look at me in disbelief.
"So what? You're on his side now?"
"What? No! I just don't want your... attitude!" I said honestly and he sigh.
"Fine, I'm sorry okay?"
"Don't tell that to me, tell that to him." I nod my head towards Simon and Shalnark slightly glare at me but then he put a defeated face on.
"I'm... I'm sorry okay? I didn't mean to." He didn't even made eye contact with Simon.
"Uhhh, it's okay?" Simon look at me and I shrug.
"Let's just go." Shalnark pulled me with him without even giving me the chance to say my farewell to Simon.
He drag me all the way outside the school, inside the forest and into an old playground that I never knew existed. It wasn't that far from school but it wasn't that close eithef. Shalnark let go of my hand and sat on the old swing while I sat on the swing that was beside him.
"What is this place?" I ask him as I swing my leg slightly.
"This is where I spend my time when I don't have anything to do." He replied.
There was a silent between us but it's not an awkward silent, it was more like a peaceful silent.
"How often do you go here?" I broke the silent.
"Not that often. Only when I don't have anything to do." He shrug and I nod.
A few more minutes we heard the bell rung.
"Well, that's for another subject. Let's go." Shalnark held my hand which made my heart skip a beat.
He drop me off to my Geography class and I walk away without another word. There's one question in my mind that I've been asking myself.
"Goodbye my Princess! See you after school!" He screamed but I just continued walking until I was inside my classroom.
Do I like him back?
Yes I might like him but... I still don't know his true intention towards me.
Shalnark's POV
I went to my class and saw Phinks, Machi, Nobunaga, Uvogin and Franklin already in the classroom.
"That's odd, you're always the first one to arrive at every class but now, you're the last one. Did something happened?" Uvogin questioned.
"I have to drop my future girlfriend to her class." I replied with a smile.
"I guess that you're gonna win this challenge again aren't ya?" Phinks grin and I sigh.
"I quit the challenge. I cannot do it." I said and they were all shock.
"What is this? The Playboy, our leader, is giving up on a simple challenge?" Franklin stated in disbelief.
"I don't know, I guess you could say that I've fallen in love with her that's why I end the challenge, so I don't have to break up with her when she becomes my girlfriend." By what I just said, everyone was just looking at me in a surprise look.
"I knew it, you're finally a grown man!" Machi grab me and rub her fist to my head which I chuckled.
"I don't know, I guess she made me feel things that I never felt before and... she's different towards the other girls. Other girls would fall for me immediately but her, it made it challenging for me to get her. It's like, the first time I have to be serious in a relationship. I like her a lot." I explained what I was feeling and everyone has a smile on their faces.
"Well, since you lose you're gonna have to walk around the school naked and a writing on your chest saying 'In gay' yahoo! We finally beat you!" Phinks celebrated and I rolled my eyes playfully.
"Yeah yeah, whatever. I'll do it after I made Y/n mine."
I can't wait to see her after school!
Reader's POV
The class finally finishes and as usual, I left the classroom early so I won't see Shalnark waiting for me outside. But then when I went outside, he was already there, waiting for me.
"Hello Princess." He greeted with a smile that almost made me blush, ALMOST.
"Well you're early." I commented.
"Of course, I don't want anyone to claim you first before I do right?"
"Cut the act Playboy. Just leave me alone." I started walking away from him.
"Remember what Mr. Satotz said? Well I was wondering if we can do it at your house today then tomorrow would be mine. You know, vice versa."
"Whatever, just don't get in my way when I'm studying."
"Wait, you're studying?"
"No but since you still need practice in Math more, I'm gonna have to tutor you."
