Chapter 40

"You okay there? It's looks like you're about to smash your phone back there." Shalnark's voice frighten me but I didn't made him notice.

"Y-yeah, nothing to worry at all! Ehehe." I nervously and awkwardly rub the back of my neck while smiling sheepishly.

"Oooo... kay?" He was dumbfounded but then shrug it off. "Anyways, we're here."

He park the car in front of what it seems like... Love Karaoke. (Author: I just made that up)

"Uhhh..." I was about to protest but he interrupted me.

"Don't say anything yet, let's go inside first." Shalnark said with a smile and he opens the door for me.

"Welcome to the Love Karaoke my Princess." He let me in first and the place greeted us with a fancy looking and people singing on a stage.

The walls were design with different coloured heart shapes and gems. There were also photobooth that you could go but it said that it's only for couples.

"Welcome to Love Karaoke, in this place you could have so much fun and so much love. I hope you'll enjoy it here. Do you have any reservations Ma'am or would you like a seat?" A waiter greeted me with a smile and I stared at him.

"Erm..." I was clueless on what I have to say.

"Table for two please." Shalnark was the one who responded. "She's with me."

As soon as the waiter saw Shalnark, he widen his eyes and parted his mouth.

"Shalnark-sa-" Before the waiter could finish his sentence, Shalnark place his arm around his neck and stop him from talking.

"Hey there can you give us table for two please? Ehehe." I could tell that Shalnark is nervous and it made me curious.

I wonder what the waiter was going to say. It was 'sa'. Sa... sa... salami? Salmon? Wait a minute...

"But Shalnark- sa"

"Shalnark will be fine!"

I watch as they both whispered something to each other. I gasp as I realize what the waiter was saying.

Sama! Shalnark-sama! If he calls Shalnark that then... he owns this place!

Shalnark's POV and time skip

"Sorry about earlier." I nervously scratch the back of my neck.

"Hmm? Why are you apologising for? I already figured that you own this place, am I right?" She ask me and I was shock.

"W-well, e-erm..." I tried making an excuse but with the look in her eyes, I knew she won't buy my lies so I decided to tell the truth. 

"You're right, my father own this place so you could say that I own it as well. This is the place where my mum and dad first dated and that's the reason why I took you here." I explain and she seems to understand it.

Later on, we ordered our food and ate. We have wonderful conversation like getting to know each other. I have to admit it, I love being with her. I stare at her pinkish soft lip and imagine myself kissing it.

I never kiss any girl yet. I may have dated them but no one had my first kiss.

"I love you." I said my thought out loud and she seems shock about it. "Will you be mine, forever?"

"G-gomene but I don't... like you." She said and I felt pain in my heart, but I didn't show it.

"Don't worry, like what I said, I will wait until the day that you will confess your love to me." I wiggle my eyebrow and she playfully rolled her eyes.

"Yeah yeah, whatever you say Playboy."

Playboy huh? The only time she called me by my name before was when she got kidnap. I would really like her to call me by my name.

"Is everybody having some fun cause we're about to have fun! Can Y/n Lucifer come to the stage please? She is going to sing for us!" The person at the stage said and I smirk to myself when I saw Y/n in shock.

She looks cute!

"W-what? Why are they calling me?" Y/n lean closer to me while asking.

I felt my heart skip a beat because of how close her face was. My eyes travel down to her lip and I almost kiss it when I leaned forward to her, but she went backwards.

"Come on now, don't tell me the Miss Courage is afraid on singing in front of the people? Hmmm?" I teasingly said and she raise an eyebrow.

"I'll show you..." She slightly growl and walk on the stage.

"Now this is going to be interesting." I said to myself.

"Oh, so you're the girlfriend of Shalnark? Pleasure to meet you." Mike, the host of the stage said.

Y/n immediately blush and shook her head.

"I-I'm not his girlfriend." Y/n mutter while taking a microphone.

"So what are you going to be singing today?" Mike ask Y/n.

"Hmmm... Can't help falling in love with you." Y/n replied and I have a feeling that the song was meant for me.

Y/n stared at me and I felt my face heating up.

I felt my heart racing as she continued staring deeply at me. When she notice that she was staring at me, she change her gaze around her.
