"W-well how about you and P-Paku-san, aren't you two lovebirds?" Normally it would be easy for me to say something back but this time, it's like I'm having hard time to find words that I could throw back to him.
Luckily, the words that I said work and made my big brother blush.
"W-we're not lovebirds. We're just f-friends." My brother stutters and I smirk in triumph for getting him back.
Usually he doesn't really care or get affected everytime I say something back to him but whenever it comes to Paku-san, he gets flustered. It's pretty obvious that he loooooves Paku-san and Paku-san loooooves my brother. They just won't admit it yet.
"Yeah yeah, whatever big bro. Just don't come crying to me when the time comes that her heart could belong to someone else." I giggle which made my brother glare at him.
"Don't worry Y/n-chan, my heart only belongs to your brother." Paku-san loudly whisper in my ears, so I'm the only one who could hear it, while winking.
Soon, we took our seat on the roller coster. Me beside Shalnark and my brother beside Paku-san. Me and Shalnark were at the very front while the other two were behind us.
When the coaster began to move forward, Paku-san immediately shifted towards my brother. I nudge Shalnark with my elbow and secretly pointed behind me.
He followed what I was pointing and saw what it was. He then have this evil smirk on and shifted himself towards me.
"Not gonna happen." I told him as I push him back lightly.
"Aww, I was looking forward to it." He whine like a a five year old, which made me grin in the inside but not outside.
I have to play it cool. Play. It. Cool!
"But I will get you to say yes to me one day." He chuckles while placing both of his hands behind his back.
"I doubt that." I rolled my eyes and he look at me.
"Of course I will! If I don't then I'm a douche-bag."
"A douche-bag?" I raise my eyebrow in confusion.
"You know, a man who can't keep his words and is a weakling because he can't get the girl who he loves, love him back." He explains.
"Now I have to make sure not to fall for you so I can call you Mr. Playboy Douche-bag." I say cockily.
"Oh yeah? We'll see about that." He smirk which made me smile.
Before I could say another word, we reach the top of the rail and then immediately went down and turned right, making me go towards Shalnark.
"Ohoho, falling for me already Princess?" Shalnark giggle as I tried pushing myself away from him but the coaster turned right, making him go towards me.
"I could say the same thing Playboy." I smirk and he playfully rolled his eyes.
"By the way, do you not fear this ride?" He question.
"Pft, no way! In the festival, everyone calls me Miss Courage because I do not fear anything!" I brag and laugh evilly.
"Really now?"
Before I could reply, another drop was made from the coaster which i raise my hand up the sky. The ride went on and I enjoyed watching how Paku-san cuddle towards my brother. Soon the ride ended and Paku-san was still cuddling towards my brother.
"I wish you could be more like that Princess." Shalnark wiggle his eyebrow and I punch him lightly, which he held his shoulder and pretended that he was hurt.
"Oooh, now I'm injured. Kiss me so I could heal!" He over-dramatically act.
"Anyways, nice going big bro. You totally got her in that one!" I gave my brother a thumbs up as I gesture towards Paku-san, who now recovered and was in a blushing mess.
My brother gave me a straight face and I just stick my tongue out.
"How about go there next." My brother pointed ahead of us and when I follow to what he was pointing and when I saw what it was, my face went pale.
In front of us was the big hunted house. From the place of where we are, we could hear the sound of a wolf howling. Just by looking at it sent chills down my spine.
"M-maybe another ride would be fine." I tried my best not to show my nervousness.
"Nah, we made an agreement Y/n-chan, each one of us would choose one ride and no one can disagree." My brother sheepishly smile.
"But that's not even a ride!" I complain.
"Now now, is my Princess scared of a fake hunted house? What happen with 'Everyone calls me Miss Courage because I do not fear anything!' ? Huh?" Shalnark reminded me of what I said earlier.
"Miss Courage huh? Well, will Miss Courage take the challenge and enter the haunted house or will she back away and lose the title of being Miss Courage?" My brother held both of my shoulders with the funny smile on his face that convince me that when I don't accept his challenge, he's going to tease me for the rest of my life!
I sigh in defeat while staring at the haunted house in front of me then finally decided.
"Fine, let's do... it." I breathed heavily and we bought our tickets.
