We were at the shop looking for a dress and a suit and tie to wear for the upcoming formal, which is tomorrow. My brother had been mocking around and suggesting me to wear dresses that reveals my cleavage. I sigh in frustration and look around for the perfect dress until one dress caught my attention.
"Hey brother, what about that one." I pointed to it and Chrollo observe the dress that I was pointing.
"That is the perfect dress I've ever seen. It would be perfect for my beautiful little sister. Now try it on to see if it fits you." He said and I nod.
After we bought our formal clothes, we went home and the next day we prepared for the formal. I had my hair straighten/curl and put simple make up on then finally, I wore my *any chosen dress* and look myself in the mirror.
"Have I told you that you're beautiful even without make up on?" I heard Chrollo just by the entrance and I raise an eyebrow to him.
"Ever heard of knocking?" I ask him with a smirk and he shrug.
"Your door was open." He gestured to my door and I playfully rolled my eyes.
"So when are you going to pick up Paku-san?" I tried changing the subject.
"About now so... when is your Prince coming?" Just as he said that, we heard a honking outside the house and I smile to him.
"About now." I mock him and he shook his head teasingly.
We both went downstairs and saw Shalnark waiting patiently by the door. When he saw me, his mouth went agape and it was like... he's been love-struck.
"If you keep staring at her like that she might melt." My brother commented and Shalnark finally went back to earth.
"S-sorry, I couldn't stop I saw a glimpse of an angel." Shalnark said with a blush on his face and I think I blush as well.
"Whatever, don't get too cocky when she becomes yours." Chrollo wink at me and I slightly glare at him since I already know what he was talking about.
This was the night where I decided to tell Shalnark my true feelings
"Shall we?" Shalnark ask and I nod.
"We shall."
When we arrive at the formal, the whole Gen'ei Ryodan a.k.a my brother and Shalnark's group were waiting for all of us. Shalnark opened the door for me and I went out of the car with him holding my hand.
Normal POV
As you got out of the car, the Gen'ei Ryodan applaud for you and Shalnark.
"Here comes the new couple!" Phinks yelled and everyone cheered.
You didn't like being the centre of attraction so you hid behind Shalnark.
"No need to be shy my Princess, come on." Shalnark lead you to the entrance.
-----Mini time skip-----
As the formal started, everyone went in the middle to dance. You and Shalnark were at the middle dancing. Not far from you was Jess who was watching the both of you in jealousy. The music then change into a romantic dance so you and Shalnark came close with each other.
He place both of his hands on your waist while you wrap your arms around his neck. You stare into his beautiful green eyes and you were mesmerise by them.
"You're beautiful..." Shalnark commented and you smiled at him.
He held one of your hand and spin you around slowly.
"Thank you." You said and Shalnark also smiled.
"I love you." You were shock at what Shalnark just said and you felt your heart racing.
He spin you one more time but as you were about to return to him, a random student bump into you and apologise then left. You were two meters away from Shalnark and you thought that this could be the perfect moment.
"I love you too." You said but in the exact time you had said that, the music change into a loud and out-beat music.
"What?!" Shalnark ask and you repeated what you just said but he still couldn't hear it.
He then signalled the DJ to turn the music down and as soon as the music died down, your shout was heard across the room.
"I LOVE YOU TOO!" You were shock when everyone was looking at you and blush in embarrassment, but didn't pay attention to them since all you could see was Shalnark.
Shalnark grinned fully as he finally heard the words he's been waiting for you to say. Just as he was about to go close to you, Jess grab the microphone from the DJ and started speaking.
"Well well well, congratulation to our top Playboy because he finally made the witch a.k.a Y/n to say the word 'I love you' and that's another target down. Now that that's done, you could come back to me now baby Shalnark." Jess said.
Phinks was trying to stop Jess from talking but Jess push him away.
"What's going on?" You ask Shalnark as he have a worried face on.
"Oh, you didn't know Y/n? You were just one of those who got dared to be experiment again. To be one of the girls who got hurt and experience how to love the Playboy. Shalnark didn't really love you, he was just doing it for the dare that he got." Jess explained and this made you heart-broken.
You turned to Shalnark with a tear falling down your eyes.
"I-is that true?" You ask in a croaky voice.
"I-it is true but-" Shalnark tried to explain but you walk away from him, not letting him finish what he was going to say.
