"Yo Peri, ya ready for school?," Amethyst asked.
"I'm ready for you to fix your grammar," Peridot wispered clipping the yellow diamond necklace that was given to her by her family before she left her home country. Her older half brother Jasper had been given up for adoption after his mother, Mrs. Pink, realized it wasn't safe for him to live with her. She and Jasper would be living near eachother, but Peridot was living with her girlfriend, Amethyst. "What ya say, Peri?," Amethyst asked tossing Peridot her keys.
"Amethyst, you should learn how to drive," Peridot told her.
"Why?," Amethyst asked.
"You can go to get doughnuts whenever you want," Peridot offered. Amethyst's face lit up with joy.

Peridot's POV:
I'm going to a new school, I have to live with Amethyst, and I have to call my mom everyday; life already sucks! "Hey, mom," I dialed her number on my green and yellow phone.
"Hello, you've reached Yellow Diamond," Yellow told me.
"Shut up Pearl! I want to talk to my mom!, I screamed. Amethyst looked at me like I had just killed someone.
"I don't know anyone named my mom, unless that's how you address royalty!," Yellow fired back.
"Sorry, Mrs. Diamond," I said sarcasticly.
"What do you want; you're lucky you haven't been disowned yet!," Yellow hollered at me. I guess I'll just hang up.
"Dude do you hate your mom?," Amethyst teased. I pulled into my new school acting like I didn't hear the question. I looked over to see I tall, muscular figure. "Yo Jasper!," Amethyst yelled. Jasper? Maybe it's someone else. My mom told me to stay away from Jasper, because a women by the name of Blue Zircon has accused her of Mrs. Pink's murder. "Yo P-dot this is my friend, but practically family ,Jasper," Amethyst said pointing to Jasper as I just rushed inside the building to avoid any contact with my half brother.
"Nice shorts," a tall girl with sunglasses pointed to the old shorts I found in a box inside a barn; thinking about it I should of worn something different.
"Thanks," I shifted my alien backpack.
"Are either of you interested in swim classes?," A slightly shorter girl than the one who I was standing by with blue hair asked seemingly bored.
"Are you okay?", I asked noticing her eyes had tear stains around them.
"I'm fine," she lied. The bell rang, so I walked to my first class. Great, Jasper is in my homeroom!
"Hi I'm Mrs. Rose," The teacher said with a large smile across her face. The girl two seats in front of me blushed when she saw the teacher. "Is everyone here?," Mrs. Rose asked as everyone began to mumble.
"Yes my diamond," I laughed looking down at my necklace. I'm so glad I don't have to live with my mom anymore; she thinks she's so perfect that everyone ,even her own daughter, has to treat her like she rules worlds.
"Diamond?," I looked to my left to see who was asking and was stuck by fear when I saw Jasper. I quickly turned to the listen for the teacher calling my name, but I hoped by some miracle she would skip me.
"Peridot Diamond," she called out. I slouched down in my chair and sheepishly raised my hand about an inch. "Peridot Diamond," Mrs. Rose repeated. I closed my eyes and raised my hand. The girl with blue hair looked at me with worry written all over her face. I believe her name is Lapis Lazuli; I guess she knows who I am. Jasper looked at her and she quickly turned away.
