Catching Fire: Peeta's Story....

Chapter 1:

Hey guys soo this is my first time writin a book here sooo tell me what you think and stay tuned for chapter 2!!! which should be up either by tonight or tomorrow!!!!

Chapter 1:

I wake.
No clue where I am.
I look around, then remember.
Two, maybe three or four, days ago was when the horrifying nightmare, and my "relation ship" with Katniss, ended! But now that that's over, a whole new game has started. I haven't seen Katniss in a while, I'm not even sure exactly how many days iv'e been asleep! All I know is that I, Peeta Mellark, RUINED my "relationship" with Katniss Everdeen possibly forever! I know I absolutely LOVE this girl! I've liked her ever since I threw her that bread, maybe even before that!

After a few minutes of thinking, I decide to get out of bed and check on Haymitch. Haymitch lives right next to me, then Katniss is on the other side, and as I'm walking up I can already smell the stench of beer and crap from outside! I let myself in knowing he wont answer the door and start picking up stuff on my way to the kitchen where I see him laying across the table. But he's drenched and talking (more like yelling really) to someone whom I can't see or hear. so I decide to listen in to see who it is.

"You guys know that the press, Effie, and Capitol people are gonna be here today, so you better start falling BACK in love with this boy soon, and by soon I mean RIGHT NOW!" Haymitch says very slurred!

" He's probably still mad at me! You know and so did I, that I actually DID fall in love with him in the arena after I found him nearly dead and hidden! You could see it on my face too when they took him from me and wouldn't let me get to or even stand by and hold his hand when we got back on the hovercraft! I'm still trying to figure out if I still DO love him?" Katniss says, voice starting to clench up and waiver.

SHE LOVED ME! SHE REALLY DID LOVE ME! HOLY CRAP! SHE ACTUALLY LOVED ME BACK AND MIGHT STILL LOVE ME! My thoughts got interrupted by yelling,

" YOU WILL AND STILL DO love this boy, you here me? Cause if you don't actually have and show feelings for him the whole country of Panam, and President Snow, will know and then we're gonna be in BIG trouble! You here me LOVE him! Remember those feelings! Go to his house and wake him with a kiss or something, I don't know! Just start those feelings again!"

COME TO MY HOUSE AND WAKE ME! I'm not even at my house Haymitch, i'm snooping on you!

" Okay! I'm gonna go over to his house and wake him! But not now, in a few minutes! I'm gonna clean you off first!" Katniss says as she starts to open something.
That's when I run. Run back to my house, messing my freshly showered and combed hair, stripping myself of my clothes and throwing on my PJ's again, then jump back into bed as I here Haymitch's front door shut, and here foot steps coming towards my empty house, besides me ( my parents wanted to stay in the house along with my two brothers and keep the bread shop running) there is no one living here, I wish that Katniss would come live here with me, no one lives in her house either most of the time it's just her, I would feel alot safer and she probably would too! I finish my thoughts just as the front door opens....
