Catching Fire: Peeta's Story....

Chapter 9:

Hey guys! So I'm tryin to stay as close to the story as possible but still stay to mine so tell me what you guys think and pass me on!!!

Chapter 9:

I'm happy. I'm extremely happy! I get to marry Katniss Everdeen. Then she'll get to be Katniss Mellark! Mr. and Mrs. Peeta Mellark. Katniss Mellark. Peeta and Katniss Mellark, I like it, I like it alot, it has a nice ring to it! We go to my room so I can get my clothes, then head down to OUR room! Katniss showers first as I wait outside the open door and listen to her beautiful voice as she sings some tune, about meeting at a Hanging Tree, softly to herself. She then escapes the shower naked! No towel, she's not afraid this time! I look away after a moment so she doesn't sense, or catch, me staring at her. Then I make my way to the shower, I take off my clothes, but I can feel her eyes on me, she's changed. I get in the shower, as she sits outside waiting for me, she's not going to leave my side.

When I finish, we get into bed and snuggle up. After a few minutes of stroking we drift off to sleep.

I wake up in the morning to the sound of Effie rapping on our door. We pull on the clothes that where set out for us, and head to the dining area. I don't see what difference it makes if I get up or not, since it's a travel day. But it turns out that yesterdays makeover was just to get to the station. Today we'll get the works from our prep teams.

"Why, it's too cold for anything to show?" Katniss grumbles.

"Not in District 11." Effie replies. I feel Katniss stiffen at my side. I know she'd rather be anywhere but 11. It was Rue's home. But that's the way the tour goes, start at 12 and descend to 1. But since we came from 12, we start at 11 and go to 12 last and have a great party!

We then go off to Katniss's room to get ready for tomorrow. Our prep teams talking away as we tightly hold hands, and whisper occasionally to each other. They finally finish, so we head off to lunch. Everyone's talking and having fun, but Katniss. The train stops suddenly, our server claiming its because of a malfunction. It will take at least an hour. This makes Effie go mad! Pulling out her schedule and going on and on and on about how this will impact every event for the rest of our lives. Finally Katniss looses it, and can't stand to listen to her anymore!

"NO ONE CARES EFFIE!" She snap's. Everyone's staring at her now, but me, "WELL THEY DON'T, KAY?" She gets up, and leaves. For the first time without me!

But this time she doesn't look back.
