We walk in and all conversation stops, and everyone is staring at us. Finally Finnick breaks the ice, "I can't believe Cinna put you in that thing!"
"He didn't have any choice. Since Snow is....you know... dead... his guards picked the dress for me." Katniss tells them. Cashmere tosses her flowing blond curls back and spits out, "Well, you look ridiculous!" She grabs her brothers hand and pulls him into place to lead our procession onto the stage. Johanna stops to actually fix Katniss's necklace, which is crooked.
They go through all the questions and then get to Katniss, I give her a peck on the cheek, which sends the whole crowd into ooohs and awwws. I smile and let her go. She talks about her dress and she stands to twirl in it but it starts to go on fire! I start to get worried but then calm my self because this must be a plan of Cinna's. When Katniss stops spinning everyone can clearly see she's not naked.
She's a Mockingjay.
The buzzer finally buzz's and its my turn. When I walk past Katniss I don't look at her. I don't want her to know what's going on. When I sit, I glance at her and she looks....hurt. I can't stand that, "Caesar? Do you think our friends here can keep a secret?" Katniss looks confused now, I get up and go to her grabbing her hands and setting her on the seat with me. I hold both of her hands, "We are already married." I say, smiling and looking at Katniss. "Oh but wait! There's more!" I tell the crowd, my heart beating out of my chest. "Go on." Caesar says.
"We're having a baby!"
