max needs to rant

"that's what i just said"

another rant about annie.

you know, sometimes i feel like a bad friend for ranting about her. she considers me her best friend and i consider her as mine, but at times i do find her excruciatingly annoying to the point i want to punch something.

so one of my other best friends named may wanted to buy some kind of shrink paper and online said it was carried at walmart so a bunch of friends (including annie, may and i) went there after going out to eat kbbq. i separated from the group for a bit caz my little sister was with us and wanted to check out games and she wanted me to buy games for her.

after getting the games for her we joined my group of friends. may said to me sadly, "they don't have it here."

"oh no," i said. "you asked an employee and they said they didn't have it?"

annie spoke up, sounding kind of condescending, "of course she asked. they don't have it here."

i didn't think much of it and continued saying to may, "okay, well check another walmart and see which one might have it."

again, annie said, "but the problem is, they're closing soon or already closed." (it was around 10:30pm)

i said, "well, at least the shrink paper is not super important and you can always buy it another day."

annie said, "she doesn't need it right away, so she's not in any hurry to buy it."

i look at annie with a raised eyebrow. "that's what i just said..."

in yet again a condescending tone, annie snapped as she gestured towards may, "well, she said it first!"

i roll my eyes when i'm not looking at her and then i walk alongside may as we go around walmart.

now let me tell you why i'm annoyed by this.

i have noticed a lot lately that annie repeats things that i say, whether she paraphrases it or just flat out says exactly what i say. for example, at kbbq my crush tyler was cooking and a lot of flames came up and i commented, "wow, ty, you're gonna burn the bulgogi!" as a joke, and then annie said right after, "you're gonna burn the bulgogi, tyler!"

another time my friend cynthia was joking about how there wasn't an anthropology 420 class (we planned on taking summer classes together) and then i joked, "right? we could've blazed through that class." cynthia laughed at my pun and then annie who was with us was like, "you guys could've blazed through that class if there was an anthro 420," and then laughed after saying that like she had made the pun. in my head i was like, 'yeah, i just said that...'

there are just way too many times where she does this and it ticks me off but i don't say anything to her about it.

damn, i have a lot of rants about annie in my head, but this is just for her repeating things i say. more annie rants later. i'm off now.
