Robin's POV
It had been two days since I had been drugged nonetheless my body was still weak. What had I learnt about chloroform again? It's deadly. It causes death.. I shuddered. I didn't want to think about death not with Eli coming. Eli! He was coming for me. I was happy but why did I have chills down my spine? Think about Eli. Think about you two kissing. Think about being his girlfriend. I ordered myself. I couldn't wait to be with him.
"Come. It is time to be reunited with your family and boyfriend" Paul said looking at me. He looked happy. Wouldn't you be happy if you were going to be handed five million dollars? The little voice in my head chastised.
I'd stopped trying to convince Paul and his "helps" that Eli wasn't my boyfriend but he had stopped listening to me and said if I could mention his name while drugged, he was more than a friend. I nodded. I had stopped using my voice since I spoke to Eli. He started walking and I followed, deep down hoping Eli had understood the cryptic information I gave him and wishing nothing wrong would happen.
Julian's POV
I barely slept well last night although I needed it. I felt a little jealous Robin spoke to Eli and more jealous when I heard she had been muttering his name in her sleep. I sighed. It wasn't Eli's fault Robin loved him and I shouldn't be worrying about these things. Robin wasn't with us yet.
The man, Paul, had sent the instructions at midnight. Stanley had woken us up. Eli was sending the money to an abandoned warehouse along the coast. A forty minute drive from here. Stanley had urged Eli to get back to sleep but had insisted that I stay back. Eli didn't protest, his mind was probably on seeing RoAn again.
"Julian, you're very important to the plan. You'd drive after Eli to the warehouse"
"But you said I couldn't go with Eli!" I answered, looking at him puzzled.
"You won't go with him. You'd drive after him. There's another route to the warehouse. I didn't want Eli to know about the plan because his surprised look should be -"
"Genuine" I cut in. "So the kidnappers won't think anything was up. But why would I go there? I don't want to endanger RoAn"
"Listen, Julian. We don't know if he will let Robin go or not and I am not risking my granddaughter's life" Mr Ted nodded and looked at his father. Mr Theodore looked tired. I couldn't blame him. His daughter was upstairs trying to remain calm and strong while her heart ached for her own daughter.
"I'll do what I must, Mr Theodore"
"Good, sonny. You're transporting part of the team to that warehouse." James cut in. I gulped and nodded. RoAn needed me. I would do anything to save her. They filled me in with the rest of the plan.
Eli's POV
I tried to sleep but I kept tossing. In a few hours I would be with Robin again. My heart smiled at such thought. She sounded so weak from the phone call. That night I was giddy. I wished she was near me so I could take her fear away and comfort her.
Oh Robin. I do miss you so.
"Get some sleep" Stanley had said to me after he had received the instructions. Julian was still sitting with them but I decided it was to encourage him that I would be alright. Julian and I had never done anything without each other. This was going to be our first. I texted Macy that her best friend was coming home soon. Part of me wanted to text Frederick but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. I closed my eyes, mind going over all the memories I had with Robin. We'd have to create a lot of new ones. I thought letting sleep overcome me.
