Eli's POV
I was still in denial. I mean why wouldn't I be! The girl I'd taken a liking to just told me she loved another. I finally told her and what did did it amount to? Nothing!
You kissed him. Why?!" I could feel her anger and she wiggled out of my grasp. Why had I said that aloud? I'd always been hurt that she granted Frederick her first kiss.
"I have every right to kiss whom I want since I ain't dating! Especially when that guy is interested in me!" I couldn't believe she had actually said that. Was Robin Andrea just like Carlyle?! No, you know she isn't.
"You told me to stay away from you. A day after we kissed! Robin how could you do that!" I know my voice carried my pain but I couldn't help myself. She was shaking slightly. I didn't want to guess why.
"Annaliese is whom you want. Or is it that pretty Carlyle? Golden Couple eh? Go to either one of them and leave me alone!" Did she really say that?! Golden Couple my dreams. If only she knew what a horrible person Carlyle was, she would never think i would love her again. She turned to leave I played my last card.
"I love you" I hoped my eyes would tell her how much I truly did.
"I love Frederick" she crushed me. Robin Andrea just broke my heart into a million pieces. My face looked beat up. I looked defeated. This time, I knew it was truly over.
"Goodbye, Robin". I remembered a flash of hurt on her face but I brushed it away as a trick of the light. I don't remember driving home but somehow my numb body had been enough to bring me home. Luckily, my parents weren't around. I just slept.
