jaehyung sat at home, younghyun tried to go out and keep himself preoccupied.

jaehyung scrolled through his social media timelines, younghyun scrolled through the list of places he could go.

he strayed two hours away from where he lived, and he lived five minutes away from the debating room. straying so far away, he never expected to bump into jaehyung there, but he just did.

he heard the bubble tea there was famous, he was thirsty, and so he decided to give it a try.

and at the front of the line was a certain man, that younghyun had tons of faith in. jaehyung. and only then did he realise that he had absolutely no idea what jaehyungs surname was. but he wasnt going to bring it up, he couldn't. it would just sound too weird.

"jaehyung..."

jaehyung looked in the direction where the sound came from, and he smiled.

"younghyun!"

"hi jaehyung, what are you doing all the way here?"

"i live near here, and i came down just to get a drink. and what are you doing here?"

"i heard that the bubble tea from here is really good, i came all the way here to try."

"oh, and youre alone?"

"yes, who would i be with?"

"i don't know," jaehyung chuckled, "your best friend? perhaps."

"but why?"

"because its international best friend day."

and at this point, younghyun was sure that jaehyung had a best friend, and he couldn't let jaehyung know that he didnt have one.

"oh right, i forgot..."

"welp, seems like I forgot too. i only just remembered this morning." jaehyungs eyes brightened. "hey, since we're both alone, wanna hang out?"

"sure!"

"I'll show you are this place, theres tons of things to do!"

"okay, but let me get a drink first, any recommendations?"

jaehyungs face lit up, "bubblegum."

younghyun thought it was weird, but decided to give it a try anyway. "well o-kay."

to his surprise, bubblegum tasted great!

as they walked, there were shops selling clothes, arcades, cafes, karaokes, book stores, there were even carnivals and a few theme parks! younghyun was amazed,

"where do you want to go to first?"

"the theme parks!" younghyuns eyes sparkled.

they went on every rollercoaster they could find and by then, it was lunch time. so they picked a cafe and had their lunch. following that, they went to a karaoke, and younghyun swore he could sing better than jaehyung, resulting in a singing competition.

"i won."

"no i won."

"i hit the higher note,"

"fine, you win."

jaehyung gave up, but he was certain that he would find something that he was better at compared to younghyun.

the next stop was the carnival, and jaehyung found what he was better at, carnival games.

he had won quite a few stuffed toys, and gave most of them to younghyun because he didnt actually want them.

then, yonghyun dragged jaehyung into a book store because he claimed it was aesthetic and he wanted to buy an aesthetic book.

they were left with two hours till younghyun had to leave so they spent the remaining time in the arcade, and they had to admit, both of them weren't very good at arcade games.

while sitting at the train station waiting younghyuns train to come, jaehyung decided to post a picture that he forced younghyun to take for him at the carnival. younghyun took not of jaehyungs Instagram name, jaeparklb.

and, that was when he learnt, that jaehyung was park jaehyung. no biggie though. they waved goodbye and went their separate ways home.
