5. Music project

You awoke in the morning with a furious mother. "Oi get the fuck up", she yelled. You sighed and got dressed. Neko stretched out on your bed, kneading your blanket. You looked at your timetable. You were excited because you had your first music class. Your first two days of school weren't full days in class. You had been taken out several times to take tests of ability and such, you missed one music lesson on Friday afternoon. "I'm leaving now!", you called into your house as you left. Your mother grunted and continued to read her book. You put in your head phones and began listening to music.

You walked past the akatski, Dei pulled his tongue at you, so you just smirked. You were met by Sasuke and Naruto at the front door. "You were awesome at the party, believe it", yelled Naruto giving you a thumbs up. You giggled and looked at Sasuke who as just staring at you. "Hey you alright there Sasuke?", you asked. He nodded and stared forward, ignoring the fan girls that followed him. The bell rang and the two idiots walked you to class.

You walked in and saw some of the akatski, but you weren't that surprised. You smiled and waved to Kakuzu, sitting in the empty seat next to him. "Alright class, we are going to start a project, kind of like a competition, I will be pairing you and you have to come up with a song together", instructed Miss Yuhi (kurenai). The entire class sighed. You weren't worried at all, just hoped that you didn't get paired with an idiot. You had written many songs before with Red, you were actually quite good at it. When you thought about it and who you wanted to be your partner a certain face popped into your head. "Ok so Pein with Sasori, Kakuzu with Tayuya, (Y/n) Kisame...". You sighed, you secretly wanted to be Kakuzu's partner. You looked forward at Tayuya, she was giggling and waving back at Kakuzu. He hid his face in a book. "She can't be that bad", you reassured. "Oh no she is worse then bad". You giggled and tapped him on the head with your book. "Please go sit with your partners now to discuss". Tayuya came running over to Kakuzu, you couldn't help but laugh. Kisame came and sat in the empty desk beside you, he turned his chair. You found Kisame really strange, he looked kinda blue but he was really attractive. "What do you play?", you ask. He looks at you and grins. "Guitar, how about yourself?". "Same". "Wanna jam after school?". You smiled and nodded. "Kay, I'll drop you at your house after school to grab your guitar, then we can go to mine". He got up and walked back to his seat, starting to chat with Sasori and Pein.

Ten minutes later Miss Yuhi got the classes attention. "OK everyone you have two weeks to finish your song, then you will be performing them in front of everyone else". Every one sighed and moaned. "Tayuya you can go back to your desk now", you smirked at her. Her smile disappeared and she glared at you, walking back over to her desk. "Oh my god thank you (Y/n)", he sighed. "No problem, do it for my brother all the time". "So are you gonna go to Kisame's?", he asked. You were confused because you heard the worry in his voice. You nodded, he tensed up and leaned over to you. "Watch out that guy is a lady killer, he will try to sleep with you". You giggled. "Haha yeah I don't fall for guys like that".

Kakuzu felt his muscles tense as she said that. What did she mean 'guys like that'? Kisame was a lot of things, but Kakuzu fit into some of those categories too. He had never lost his virginity because he hadn't really caught feelings for a girl before. He would never tell anyone that, he was scared as to how they would react. Would they disown him, would they tease him? But he had felt something strange between him and (Y/n). It felt right, like he never wanted to leave her side, like he wanted to be with her forever. But he was just another idiot like Kisame.

Timeskip

You were sitting with your friends at lunch, all chatting and laughing. Naruto on one side and Sasuke on the other. You really wanted to sit beside Hinata and Tenten but the two stubborn boys refused to move. You were always surrounded by them, you now ex boyfriend used to be like this. So protective, he didn't let me hang out with certain people because he though that I would cheat on him. Idiot, I never did. But he obviously was. It was strange for you, you hadn't been single in years. You were 17 now and you started going out when you were both 15, that was basically 2 years. He was nice and all but also a huge jerk. You got into countless arguments, he was also doing everything in his power to control you. You didn't know why you didn't leave him sooner, you were just stuck. "Hey are you OK!", Hinata asked across the table. You were knocked out of your trance and you gave her a gentle smile. Then you saw a certain blue boy walk up to your table. "Hey (Y/n) bring money, so we can get food". You turned and nodded. "Yeah sure". He walked back to his table, your friends were dumbfounded. "Why were you talking to him?", questioned Naruto. "He's my partner for music". The others just kept staring at you. "Don't hang out with him, the freak is just trying to get in your pants", instructed Sasuke. You sighed. "You guys can't tell me what to do, I'm just gonna friend zone him if he tries anything, I mean I've already done it to Tobi and Deidara". Their eyes all widened. "What what?!". "Tobi asked me to hang out with him yesterday, so we went to the park and Deidara called me just after Tobi asking if I wanted to hang out with him but I was already busy". "Do you like anyone (Y/n)?", hinted Tenten. Everyone turned to you, expecting an answer. "Well I-um well I..", your cheeks went bright red. "So she does, who is it?!". "Sorry but I'm not telling, I don't want to ruin what we have right now", you say. They all nodded, you felt your phone buzz. You had just gotten a text from Tenten.
