Paige's POV
All of us our on our winter break from school. As a Christmas present Jack invited me to come with hi to San Diego for Magcon this weekend. Bri and Megan are coming along too. Millie can't come because she is visiting family in Flordia. Jack J asked Sam as his guest since Millie couldn't come. The boys left last night so they would have time to rehearse today. We have been on the plane for three hours now and the pilot said we should be landing in the next half hour. I am wearing pink sweatpants, running sneakers, a white loose tank top, and a black and white baseball cap. My hair is in loose pigtail braids.
"Hey Paige have you always worn that locket?" Bri asked me
"Yeah. My mom gave it to me when I was born. I don't have the key and neither does my dad. I don't know what is inside of it." I explained
"Well I am sure you will find out one day." she said gently
"So how long have you and Gilinsky been dating for now?" Megan asked me smiling. I am happy she changed the subject because she knows I do not like talking about my mom.
"It was just five months last week." I said laughing
"Aw you guys are going to be together forever. I can't believe it is already January though." Megan said
"I know pretty soon we will be graduating. That is so scary." I said shaking my head
"Do you know where you want to go yet?" Bri asked me
"It is between Princeton and The University of Tennesse." I replied
"You wanna go back closer towards home?" Megan asked
"Yeah I miss it there. And plus with my grandmother being sick and all I want to be close to her."
"How was having her visit ovr Christmas break?" Bri asked me
"It was good just to spend some quality time with her. Being with her makes me miss her a lot. She is back on chemo though." I said sadly
"Hey she beat it once she is going to beat it again." Megan said bringing me in for a hug
We landed about an hour ago and we just finally made it to the hotel. The boys are rehearsing all day and it is too late for the beach. We unpacked and decided to get something to eat. We walked to the nearest In and out burger and ate there. Megan said she wanted to take lots of pictures on this trip so we took a lot at the restaurant.
"It is so pretty here." Bri said linking our arms as we walked back to the hotel
"Yeah it is. We have to go to the beach tomorrow." I said excitedly
Megan ran into some guy on the way back and she is so innocent it was so funny. We were laughing walking into the hotel.
"What is so funny ladies?" Matt asked
"Megan she cracks me up." I said smiling
"Hey I don't get a hello?" a voice said from behind me
"Jack!" I exclaimed giving him a big bear hug. He smiled and picked me up and spun me around.
"You two act like you havn't seen eachother in six months. It has been a day." Sam said smirking
"Aww Sammy I have missed you too." I said ruffling his hair
"Did you guys walk around?" Jack asked me giving me a kiss
"Eh sort of. We just went out to eat and walked past the beach. We are going there tomorrow right before Magcon starts?"
"Yupp. But tonight we are all going out!" he said excitedly
"Really where?"
"Bart planned this really cool boat ride. You have dinner on the boat and you get to see all the buildings lit up." he explained
The boys had to finish up some things for Magcon so us girls decided to go get ready for the night. I hopped into the shower first and blow dried my hair. I curled it into loose curls. Next I applied some foundation, blush, eyeshadow, bottom eyeliner, and mascara. I decided on wearing my black and white stripped maxi dress with a grey top that ties at the bottom over it, and my black gladiator sandals. I put on my gold hoop earrings and I put my phone into my new brown purse I got the other day.
"Seriously everyday I see you I want your outfit." Bri told me laughing
"Aw thanks. I tell you all the time if you want to borrow something just ask." I said smiling
We walked downstairs to meet the guys in the lobby. Before we left we were introduced to Bart. He seems like a very nice guy.
It took about thirty minutes to get to the docks. We walked down the long dock and hopped onto this huge boat. The boat took off and the cocktail hour began.
"So since most of us are here I wanted to announce that I have decided on going to The University of Miami for school." Bri said smiling wide
"Aw babe that is great!" Cameron said kissing her on the cheek
"Well we all know Gilinsky is going to The University of Colorado. Anybody else know where they are going?" Carter asked
"I am pretty positive I am going to The University of Nebraska." Sam said smiling
After talking about college we mainly just talked about Magcon tomorrow. After dinner Jack pulled me away so a more private end of the boat.
"I'm gonna miss this." he said wrapping his arms around me so I wasn't cold
"Miss what?" I asked confused
"Us seeing eachother all the time. You are going to either Princeton or University of Tennesse. That is so far from Colorado." he said sadly
"Yeah bvut we will talk and text eachother everyday. There is also skype and facetime. We will figure it out." I said kissing his temple
"How are you so positive about everything?" he asked nuzzling his head into my neck
"I just don't like seeing the negative in things because then you just dwell on the negative. And what is the fun in that?"
"No wonder you got into Princeton. You are so smart." he said laughing making me laugh
"I'm not that smart. I just study."
"You are coming to the game on Tuesday right?"
"Yupp wouldn't miss it." I said lightly pecking his lips. He smiled and started to attack my face with kisses. We herd awws behind us and we turned around and everybody was staring at us. I blushed and buried my face in Jack's neck.
"This is so going on instagram." Shawn said smirking
"You guys are seriously adorable. If you guys ever break up I will be so upset." Megan said smiling
"I know it is like watching your favorite tv couple." Bri said smiling too
"You guys have issues." I said standing up and helping Jack up too
"But you love us." Megan said. We ended our time on the boat with a big group picture of all of us. This describes our friendship perfectly.
