Chapter 19 already? It's been like two weeks. I've noticed that lots of people who create fanfic write a chapter over a long period of time. I just write down whatever I'm thinking at the moment. Is that bad? I don't know. Also almost 900 reads?! That's amazing. Oh, another thing, the next chapter after this one might be a triggering. I'm not sure yet but I think I have an idea of what's gonna happen. Enjoy!
Grace's Pov
Mamrie is driving us to the party.
Hannah left an hour ago.
I hear my phone ding.
Fuck. It's a twitter notification.
I should just ignore it but I want to know what it is.
I'm expecting the worse.
I open up twitter and my twitter screen is filled with people talking about the picture.
I look at some of our fans and lots of them are supporting us even though we haven't really said anything about it yet.
But there's also a lot that are saying 'Grace and Hannah aren't together, it's photoshopped' and 'Grace doesn't really love Hannah she's straight and she's just playing her.'
That one got me.
I feel tears sting my eyes.
"Hey. What's wrong?" Mamrie asks while trying to focus on the road.
"Oh.. Sorry it's nothing." I say.
I always told myself that there's always gonna be someone out there that doesn't support you but this is serious. How could someone say something like that?
"Is it the picture?" Mamrie asks quietly.
"Yeah... How did you know?" I ask already knowing the answer.
"I saw it. On twitter." She said.
I nod.
We arrive at the party.
I'm not in the mood to party but it'll get my mind off of things.
Mamrie goes off with Jason and I just try to mingle.
I say hello to some people and they just awkwardly smile and wave.
I guess I'll just float around.
I go straight for the drinks to drink my problems away.
After a few drinks in my system, I feel much better.
I'm a little tipsy so I'm kind of tripping over things but I don't care.
Other people start getting drunk too and they come to dance with me.
Next thing I know Mamrie is right next to me.
"Hey Mames. What up gurl?" I slur.
"I'm going to go home. Jason is gonna make sure you get home ok." She says.
"Why? Are you ok? You're not driving are you?" I ask holding onto her to stand up straight.
"Yeah I'm fine, it's just late and I'm not drunk. I'll be fine." She laughs.
"Well imma stay so... See ya?" I ask.
"Yeah sure. Be safe! Don't do anything stupid." She winks.
"No promises." I shout.
After she leaves, I take a couple of shots.
Next think I know, everything turns black.
