Hannah's Pov
I told Mamrie about how I'm going to propose tonight, at the party.
She thought it was a perfect idea.
I'm extremely nervous though.
What if she says no? What do I do then?
Tyler is hosting a big New Year's party at his house and that's where I plan to pop the question, when the clock strikes midnight.
We're getting ready to leave now.
"Babe? Do I look okay?" Grace walks out of the room in a short red dress.
"Ok, are you trying to kill me? You look hot, baby." I wink.
Grace smirks and grabs a jacket and her purse.
"Ready?" She asks.
I nod and we're on our way.
It's about 9 and I'm already shaking.
Luckily Grace drives because I'm freaking out.
We arrive at the party and we spot Mames and Jason.
Mames is going to pop any day now. She's due tomorrow.
I bend down to hug her and she whispers in my ear.
"You ready?"
I shake my head.
She gives me a look like she doesn't believe me.
Everyone gets to the party and starts dancing to the music.
I get so caught up in dancing that when I look up, I see Tyler with a microphone.
"Hello everybody! Thanks for coming. Just wanted to let you know that we have 5 minutes til the new year!" Tyler says.
5 minutes?! You're fucking kidding me right? Holy shit.
Grace looks surprised too.
Oh my gosh, I don't think I can do this.
I start to run away but Mamrie stops me.
"No, you're going to do this. You have to." Mamrie smiles.
Grace's Pov
I told Tyler about my plan to propose at midnight and he thought it would be great and that he'll record it.
Im so nervous but I'm pretty confident.
I hope she says yes.
Everyone starts to dance and so do we.
Before we know it, Tyler comes out and says there's 5 minutes until midnight.
5 minutes?! Holy shit.
I can't do this. No, I can't.
I try to run away but Tyler sees me and stops me.
"No no no. You march right back over there." He points.
I look back over in search of Hannah but she's not there anymore either.
"Look, I have my camera ready and everything, you can't bail now." Tyler says.
I'm still trying to spot Hannah but I can't.
I must've stood there for awhile because all of the sudden I hear the countdown.

Tyler starts to push me towards the spot I came from.

I spot Hannah, being pushed by Mamrie.
Did Tyler tell Mamrie?

Four
Hannah and I make eye contact and I turn to Tyler and shake my head no.
He nods.

Two
I try to get away but Tyler pushes me and I clutch the ring in my pocket.
I fall on to one knee.
But so does Hannah.
