Young Love (Jake Paul)

Chapter Seventeen

(A/N: As written in the previous author's note, I am putting the Jake Paul and Alissa Violet situation into this book. Obviously since Jake is with Megan, I am kind of doing the situation different than the actual situation so I can put it into this book on why Alissa just kind of disappeared from the book.)

Megan sat at her desk as she continued edit Sami's goodbye video. She was finding it hard to concentrate on it because of the whole disstrack thing going on between Logan and Jake. Since she watched Logan's vlogs from time to time, she happened to watch the video of Logan's disstrack. It kind of ticked Megan off because she had a feeling she knew what the second verse was about because a girl got out of the car and there was only one other girl that Jake a problem with.

"Are still mad?" Jake asked from his desk.

"That depends...are you vlogging?" Megan asked, not turning around. "Because I really don't want to talk about this if you're vlogging or around everybody else."

Jake knew she was still mad about it and she usually didn't talk about serious stuff like this on camera. So, Jake sat his camera up and then scooted his chair over beside Megan. He put one hand on her back and then put his chin on her shoulder.

"Are you mad at me about this?" Jake asked softly as his thumb rubbed her back.

"I'm not mad at you." Megan replied as she continued working on the video. "This whole situation is really screwed up. I'm mad at your brother for doing it. He knows how this situation gets to me. I don't think Logan realizes how pissed I am right now." Megan saved her progress and then got out of the office quickly and left without telling anybody where she was going.

Megan had been gone for what seemed like forever. She sat in her truck at the horses' for a while. Megan didn't get out, she just sat in her truck. She had probably been in the truck for about two hours holding her phone in her hand. Megan could feel her eyes filling up with tears but she tried so hard to keep from crying.

Her phone rang and she looked at it to see her dad calling.

"Hello?" Megan answered her phone.

"Hey, I'm sorry we haven't called you back, I've been really busy." Carl said on the other end.

"It's okay..." Megan sniffled.

"Megan, what's wrong?"

"A lot, dad. I had to put Sami down a couple days ago because she couldn't get up and a lot of stuff is going on right now."

"What's going, baby girl?"

"The me, Jake, and Alissa situation is coming to bite us in the ass because of Jake and Logan dissing each other. Logan went way overboard with this one."

"What did he do?"

"He made that stupid diss song and apparently he decided to make a second verse that he didn't show that had Alissa in it and he decided to bring that situation up."

"Do I need to say something to Logan? That was shitty of him to do."

"No, that'll just cause more problems. I'm just so pissed off right now because nobody but me, Jake, Alissa, and Logan know what happened. Maybe some of the others from Team 10."

"You need to come home for a little bit?"

"I don't know. I was considering it...I'm beginning to think moving out here was a bad idea."

"Megan, don't say that. You were so dead set on going to LA with Jake. I know you're hitting a rough patch right now but this stuff happens. It's part of being in a relationship with someone."
