*Octavias pov*

"Why did they take her Lincoln." I yelled at him when we got at a safe distance.
"She is Anyas one. Just like you are my one." He told me. I stopped, she is Anyas, she is in the same boat as me.

*Octavias pov*

"Please Lincoln take me to her." As I asked for the millionth time.
"No, Anya is not going to let her leave camp without a fight. Not after what happened today." I nod at him as we head back to his cave. Maria is like me.

*Marias pov*

I woke up and looked for Anya she was gone. I put on my clothes and walk out of the tent. I see Anya yelling at people in her language to do stuff. I walked up to her and touched her back, she turned around and looked at me with a smile. "Oh good you are awake. Now go back to the tent." I look at her dumb founded.
"You want me to go back to the tent?" I ask her still confused.
She sighs. "Yes. We are starting war preperations I want you to go back to the tent."
"Anya I am not going back to the tent and I am not going to sit here and watch you make preperations to kill my people." She looked at me. "If you do not take my words to heart I am going back to my people."
She spun around fast. "No you cannot go back. I cannot stop them from killing you. You are a sky person and if I wasnt so high up in the ranking you would be dead. You can not go back to your camp. You will die." She told me frantically. I looked at her watching her pained expression.
"It is better to die with my people then to watch them die." A few grounders stopped and looked at me. "I am sorry Anya but I need to be with my people at this time. I cannot just sit back and watch you kill my family."
"But Maria, they are not your true family." I looked her dead in the eye.
"Do you want to know why I was sent here." She looked at me comfused. "I am a prisioner. We all were prisoners. Each and every one of us commited a crime that they could not kill us for because we were not old enough. My real father is the one who arrested me. The people down here. They are my family Anya wheater you like it or not." She stoped her movements shocked by what I had said, more grounders have come around us listening.
"And" she stopped. "And what did you do to be sent down here." She looked scared to see my answer. I put my hand on her face and she seemed to calm.
"I killed someone Anya." Everyone around us looke shocked. Who knew a skyperson had the capasity to kill someome. "I beat them to death, for taking a little girls food. I told him to give it back, but he just spit in my face telling me to run to my daddy. So you know what I did." I got a hmm in response. "I ripped his tongue out and feed it to him, since he needed the little girls food so bad. Then I punched him till he was not longer breathing. The people down here." I stopped and took a deep breath. "They understand that what I did was wrong but I dont need to die for it, unlike my father who thought I needed to be exicuted before I was of age."
"You are a true warrior." I looked at her shocked. "We mark every kill we make in battle" she pulls down her shirt for me to see her marks. "It is now time for you to get yours." She looks at two men "Hold her down." She walks away as the two men hold me to the ground, Anya comes back with a hot knife and Tris behind her. "My warrior" she kissed my forehead and Tris pulls down my shirt. Anya takes a deep breath and presses the hot knife into my skin pushing down on it. I let out a scream of pain and she stops pushing for a minute. Once she is done she pulls the knife away and gives it to Tris. She pulls me up and kisses me. People around us are shocked but others dont seem to be at all. "You now are a true warrior. You may return to your camp tonight but I expect to ses you after the war is over. No one will hurt you now." I nod my head at her and watch as she looks at her people. "We ride at first light be ready to attack!" I grab her hand and bring her back to her tent, I take off my clothing and kiss her.
"Anya" she stopped staring at me and looked into my eyes. "I love you." Before I could say anything else she was kissing me and her clothes were off.
"I love you too my little warrior." She kissed me again, and we had sex.
