I step back and look at her before i slammed my lips on hers. "I love you Anya and we will meet again. Stay safe my warrior. I love you." She kissed me on last time before she put me on her horse and sending me off.
I looked at her one last time before riding off to Polis.

*Marias POV*

I have been traveling for days, I am 100 percent sure I am lost. I dont know what has happened with the fight. I dont know if my friends, my family is ok, or if Anya is still alive. All I try to think about now is making my way to Polis to talk to the Commander. It was the last thing Anya wanted from me so it is something I need to do. I need her help.
Theres a crack of a tree not to far from me and I stop "Anya" I called out "Anya is that you, please be you." As I get off my horse and turn around there is a sword pointed towards my head.
"Who are you." The lady asks. I look around and see a very buff man behind her and what looks to be an army. "I said. Who Are You!" I freeze and look at her she was very beautiful but I just wanted my Anya.
"I am Maria, I was sent by Anya, she wanted me to come talk to someone called the Commander. Could you take me to them?"
"Why do you need this Commander." She asks me slightly lowering her sword. I look around me and weight my odds. If I fight I die but I could get the sword and switch rolls.
"She is supposed to keep me safe. She was Anyas second." I stopped when I remebered the letter Anya gave me. "I-I have a letter for her! From Anya." I went to reach for it but her sword fallowed me.
"You keep saying Anya like you know her well. Do you know her well?" I freeze. How do I tell this grounder this.
"Yes I know her well."
"But you are a sky person how do you know her well."
"She is my love." I stop. "Here is the letter, please take me to the Commander so I can give it to him."
The woman took the letter from my hand and read it. She looked at the gaurds and nodded her head. Two of them grabbed my arms and held me in place turning me around. The woman grabbed the back of my shirt ripping it exposing my mark.
"How did you get this."
"Like every other grounder got theres. I killed someone. Anya she gave it to me the night before she went to kill my people, at the Commanders request."
The woman stopped and looked at me. "I am the Commander, but you may call me Lexa." The two men let go of me and I dropped to the ground. No this cant be the Commander, shes just a girl no older then me. "Follow me if you still wanna live." I stared at the pretty woman in front of me.
"Y-your are the Commander." She gave me a look and then a quick nod, before she kept walking. I stood there for a second trying to process every thing.
Im safe, I just need to wait for Anya now. I followed the commander for what seemed like hours before she stopped. She turned to look at me with a smile. "Welcome to Polis."
