I bring my hand to my nose pulling it away to find a large quantity of blood, sighing I turn and start walking back to the camp keeping my finger up to my nose to stop it from dripping down my face to my clothes. I stop and watch Clarke walk back to her camp, my camp. I shake my head and start to make my way back over to Lexa and Anya making sure my nose was done bleeding before going in to talk to them. When I walked into the room both Lexa and Anya stop talking and direct their gaze to me.
"Good for you to join us again." Lexa said calmly. She sat in her throne with her guard Augustus next to her. He never liked me said I always made his life to difficult. "I have a job for you." I give her a quick nod and look back at Anya real fast. She looks like she is the perfect warrior, ready for any battle the commander may throw at her. Where I, I look like one of the children playing pretend. "You, Anya, and a few of my guards are going to sit outside of Clarke's camp waiting to see if they hand over the boy or not. If not, well you should both know what to do. Understood." She finished giving us both expected looks.
"Sha Heda." Anya and I said in union. Before we left to get ready Lexa pulled Anya to the side and whispered something in her ear as Anya gave her a small nod she left the tent. I gave Lexa a questioning look and she just gave me a blank stare in return. No indication that I am her second, no indication that I'm her friend. I let out a sigh and fallowed Anya out of the tent, when I looked around for her she was already getting ready to go with a few other men. Going over to her I grab her by the shoulder and pull her to the side.
"What did Lexa tell you." I ask Anya. All she does is look at me and give me a sigh.
"You know as well as I that I cant tell you what she told me." She tells me calmly. I give her this look before she sighs and grabs my face with both hands making me look her directly in the eyes. "What she told me is none of your concern. I'm not aloud to tell you, but she wants me to keep you safe." She kissed me quickly before I had any chance to respond she pulled away. "Now go get ready so we can leave camp." I nod at her kissing her again before going over and grabbing my things.
By the time we were all ready to leave it was me Anya and two other men - some of Lexas' top warriors. We left the camp around mid day riding down just to wait. Just to wait to see if they were going to hand over my childhood friend to his death. I let out a deep sigh knowing that no matter what I do I cant change this, it needs to be done for the sake of the alliance. Even if I had to kill Finn myself. Feeling a stare on me I look back to one of the men that accompanied us to find him just staring at me. Giving him a pointed look his gaze never wavered. I turn back around waiting for one of the sky people - my people, my old people - to come out and hand us over Finn. "You will betray us." The guard told me softly he gaze never wavering "Heda has to much faith in you, you will be the downfall of us." I gave him a brief nod replaying his words in my head I looked over at Anya then back at the gate where the people who betrayed me are.
"Anya" I said her name softly she let out a hum letting me know she was listening. "I'm going into the camp." Her head instantly snapped to mine as I got off my horse.
"Are you crazy Heda will kill you." She hissed at me not trying to stop me.
"No she wont, but I need to do this." She sat ridged as a rock I grabbed her hand "I love you and I will be ok." She gave me a nod before gripping my hand tightly. We let go and I made my way down to the camp head held high as I watched all their guns be pointed at me. I walked right up to the door "I need to speak to whoever is in charge."
One of the guards looked at the other before nodding their head slightly. I watched as the other guard left the fence going to get who ever I want to talk to. "You know you aren't welcomed here anymore." He said harshly at me.
"You know I never belonged here Miller, I am exactly where I want to be. I just want to get this over with so I can go home with my girlfriend and have a nice night." He looked over at the horses staring at Anya for longer then I would like.
"Are you happy?" He asked me softly I let out a quiet noise in question "I asked if you are happy, with her with those, those monsters." He asked again not as nicely.
"I've never been happier." He gave me a look of disgust. "They have accepted me for who I am and never punished me for it, they welcomed me like I was someone that deserved love." He nodded slightly before putting his gun down.
"You deserve to be happy." With that we watched as Abby walked over to us.
