Recap

"I've never been happier." He gave me a look of disgust. "They have accepted me for who I am and never punished me for it, they welcomed me like I was someone that deserved love." He nodded slightly before putting his gun down.

"You deserve to be happy." With that we watched as Abby walked over to us.

-------

Maria

"Maria what do we owe the pleasure." Abby asked me

"I need to speak with you." I made eye contact with a couple guards "Alone" she gave a nod.

"Open the gate." The guards nodded and I looked back to my group again linger on Anya "Please fallow me." Abby said I turned my gaze to her and fallowed her into the camp. We made our way into part of the Ark that they made into the home, my eyes landed all over the station that used to be where I would play with my friends.  I trailed my hands against the walls missing the feeling of the cold metal. We finally made our way into a room. "I'm assuming this is about Finn" she asked me.

"It was originally." I stated honestly. Her eyebrow raised "But now I need to ask a favor from you, from the people of the Ark."

"We cant take you back Maria" She told me sadly before I let out a giant laugh.

"No no never Abby. I don't want to come back. I want to be happy Anya. and I want to live somewhere peacefully with her." She nodded in understanding. I walked around the room touching the cold metal. "I cant do that if your people are hunting down grounders and killing them, and if they want to kill me on sight."

"What did the Commander say about this." She asked me seriously

"I haven't told her yet." I stopped and looked at her. "I needed to know you guys wont hurt us first." She nodded again.

"Where will you guys go."

"Probably Polis for awhile" I started looking anywhere but her. "There is some kids there that I want to take with us, and then wherever the world takes us. If we stay there we stay there, but I want to be with Anya."

"Kids?" she asked me. I gave her a brief head nod, she was quiet for about 5 minutes before speaking up again. "You have my word that we will leave you in peace, I will announce it to the group tonight" I finally gave in and smiled at the woman who was like a mother to me.

"Thank you so much Abby." I hugged her quickly before letting go. "I will take my leave now, and go talk to the Heda." She nodded as I turned to leave. Before I got to the door she stopped me.

"What about Finn?"

I instantly went ridged "For peace between the two groups to work Finn needs to be handed over." She nodded her head slowly.

"Is there really no other way" I shake my head no at her, listening to her let out a big sigh "Alright, you need to go talk to the Commander about this. My promise still stands no matter what happens to Finn."

I smile at her again. "Thank you Abby really I appreciate it."

"Of course lovely. Now go you deserve to be happy." I nodded my head leaving the room, people all over the compound looked at me with disgust. Once I made it back to the gate Miller looked me over again before giving a nod for the gate to open. Once it did I quickly made my way over to Anya and the horse. Getting on and turned it around.

"I'm going to talk to Heda" She nodded not saying a word to me. I looked over to the men who came with us "You will stay here and watch over Anya and the sky people, you know what to do if it need to be done." They nodded at me before I looked at Anya one last time before riding off into the woods making my way back to the camp to talk to Lexa.

Once getting there I quickly get off my horse and made my way into her tent not even bothering to wait for her to allow me in. I push past her guard and find Lexa and Clarke kissing in the middle of the room. I clear my throat and Clarke jumps away with wide eyes looking at me "Heda I need to talk to you."

"Is it done." She asked her head still down.

"It is in the works I talked to the person in charged and I feel she will give us the boy." She nodded her head and whispered something to Clarke before coming over to me so we could talk. I could feel Clarke's' gaze on me until we left to a different room.

"What would you like to talk about Maria" She asked me poring herself a glass on wine.

"We are friends Lexa yes?" She let out a hum of approval. "I want to be with Anya, but I also would like to take leave from battle and reside in Polis for the time being." She nodded slightly.

"What would you do in Polis?"

"What ever you would like me to do Lexa. The people trust me there and there is no knowing how long you will be away, they need someone if not you then who?" She went quiet thinking it over moving around the room I watched my friend.

"I will allow you to go to Polis and to be with Anya, but you must be the one who runs things for me. They listen to you and if you don't think that the decision can be made you come to me." I nod with a big smile on my face.

"Of course Lexa I would never think of going over you." She turns around and looks at me.

"I know you would never, I also know if you were a night blood you would've made the perfect commander. Now come here and give me a hug." I let out a laugh and hugged my best friend. "We will leave tomorrow morning to talk to the collision, go talk to Anya and we will work everything out." I nodded my head again before leaving the tent, making eye contact with Clarke one last time before leaving.
