Recap

"I love you" was all she whispered to me.

Maria

Punch after punch was all that I could feel.

Lexa and Anya stood close by monitoring what was happening with close eyes as the guard kept hitting me.

Face. Stomach. Face again. Kick. Side. Chest. All on repeat since we woke up this morning. I couldn't move. Being beaten like this for hours really did something to a person. Blood was running down my face I could barely see through it but after every hit I made eye contact with Lexa. This is what she wanted, this is what she ordered.

"Enough" she finally called out after what seemed like eternity. Her and Anya whispered something together before Anya came up to me.

"I'm so sorry my love" she kissed my forehead before turning around and leaving. Who knows when the next time I see her is. Maybe never.

"Angus, Axle. Grab her and lets go." Two guards grabbed me under my arms barley lifting me up so that I am off the ground. My feet dragging slowly behind us as they take me into the clearing before the camp made of pieces of the Ark. Lexa nodded at them before they both dropped me like a bag of rocks. Moving my eyes over to Lexa again, but she wouldn't look at me. Why would she as far as anyone knows I am a traitor and this is my punishment. Her eyes lock on my body before giving the final nod. Fists pound into me again, no longer the searing pain my little pin pricks to my already weak body. She bent down to my level when they were sure I couldn't fallow them back. "This is for the best. You know what you need to do. I love you sister."

With that they were gone. They left me for dead. I could faintly see people moving around in the camp wondering what was going on with us. They haven't seen Lexa yet so they are probably quite confused.

Yelling there is so much yelling coming from the camp. They probably think this is some sort of trap. I mean they aren't wrong. My head lolls to the side looking back at the beautiful trees hoping to catch one last glimpse at my family before this happens. With no luck I try to push myself off the ground also not giving me any luck. Crawling it is I guess.

My hands bury deep into the soil as I slowly drag myself an inch. I make it almost three feet before I can't move anymore. My body already mad at me from the beating I took that it just shut down so it can try and heal itself. Rolling myself onto my back I stare up at the sky. The wonderful blue sky. My home. Voices could be heard rushing towards me but nothing mattered as my eyes closed and what was hoped to be sleep over came me.

Lexa and Anya watched from the trees as she stared up into the sky  her eyes softly closing. "Do you really think this was a good idea Heda. They hate her what makes you think they will save her."

"Her father is a well respected man they will save her. Not happily but they will. Plus Clarke and the original members who came down all want her to be safe with them." The gates opened and guards came out wanting to see what happend. Lexa gave the other warrior a look that proved her point.  Anyas heart ached as they kicked her limp body seeing if she would react, when she didn't they put a finger against her neck. That's when they all went into a frenzy. A man called out on the radio and more people flew out of the camp, they loaded her up carefully onto a stretcher and took her back inside the gates, with them closing behind the last of the people to go in.

"This is for the best. She knows what to do, her healing time will give them time to trust her and for her to be able to get back in the swing of thing." Lexa turned heading back to the camp. One last longing glance as the sky peoples camp before Anya slowly left and fallowed her.

"Heda." Lexa didn't respond "Who are Aden and James." Her steps faltered slightly but barley let it show.

"They are two of the night blood children. Maria became their guardian after we found her. They helped her and she took  care of them." Lexa didn't know how to continue to tell Anya of her friends journey to become who she is today. "This is something you need to talk to Maria about she can give you better answers than I"

Maria

Beeping. Very loud beeping. I let out a groan before trying to peel open my eyes that seemed like they were glued closed. My hands fumbled around before they landed on some wires, quickly pulling them out the beeping stopped and the flat line sound started. My body felt sluggish and like it wasn't my own. Trying to push myself off the bed I fell straight on my face. Not how I wanted this to go at all. Foot steps could be heard running down this way towards the room I was in. Moving seemed almost impossible, so I just sat there contemplating life and how I got where I am now. The cold metal on my face made it seem like I was at home. Which is guess in a way I was. This used to be my home, where I grew up, why can't it be my home again. The foot steps got closer until they suddenly stopped. I could see them right in front of my face it looked to be about three pairs.

Slowly my eyes traveled up their bodies before landing on Marcus, Abby, and Clarke. Trying to give them the best smile that I could but probably looked awful the taste of blood was still very present. "Hi dad" he didn't smile or say anything before the world went dark again.
