Lena and Stef MEET

Two weeks later

Its been two weeks since Sarah have moved in with me and my mom, and I'm ready for her to be gone. I know she my friend but I'm tired of having to deal with her and Monte's mess. After I took Sarah back to her apartment, Monte was already there and it wasn't a pretty sight.

Flashback

We pulled into Sarah's driveway and noticed Monte's car immediately. Sarah car is in the parking lot, where it usually is parked

"How the hell did she beat us here." Sarah says as she gets out of the car. She turns and look at me to see why I haven't bulged.

"Hey what are you doing? Get out I might need some reinforcement!" she says.

I am not for it tonight. I should be home in my bed resting for work but nooooooo....  I'm here with these fools.

"Sarah really?! Why can't you just go in and work this out with her? By yourself." I try to reason.

"Oh, so now you don't have my back" she barked back.

"Of course I have you back, I just really don't want to get involved. I'm a cop Sarah. I could lose my job. Why don't you just come home with me. You can stay there a couple of days until things settle down. I mean the apartment is in your name, so she really doesn't have any grounds to kick you out." Again, I try to reason.

"So, you really expect me to just let this go?! I can't do that." She says as my attempt fails

"Yes, you can, and you will. I mean really Sarah this is crazy. Both of you cheated and to be honest I thought you said that you were going to end it anyway." 

"That's not the point Stef. It's the principle of the matter. She always gets her way and this time it's not happening." says an angry Sarah.

"How about this? I go in get you some clothes, tell Monte you're going to stay at my place for a while. I mean she has no reason to be mad at me, so it shouldn't take me long. Plus I really don't want this to escalade more than it has. I need you to stay safe and not get yourself into any trouble, especially behind some girl that you were going to leave." I say on a final attempt to deescalate the situation. 

"UUUGGGGHHH! Fine. Whatever! she says in my victory. 

"Are you sure? Promise me you will stay in this car until I get back."

"Yeah! Yeah! I Promise. But you better not take long or I'm coming in after you."

Flash Back End

It's been two weeks, two weeks and Sarah is still here. She is the poster girl for depression. Shes been late to work and called in almost every other day. I'm afraid she going to lose her job and I'll be stuck with her. There has been no change in their relationship status. I don't even think they have talked to one another being that I'm the mediator for every important thing that they have to discuss. Monte is still refusing to leave the apartment, and Sarah isn't even fighting for her to leave which puts me in a bad spot. I mean she is my friend but how long am I supposed to allow her to mope around and not makes plans to find another place or, or, whatever.... Once again, she late and I have to be a parent and make her ass get up for work.

"Sarah you're going to be late for work again if you don't get up soon." I say shaking her until she opens her eyes.

"I'm not going, I think I'm going to call in again." she says

"What? Hell no! Get your ass up. Look, it's been 2 weeks, and you are still moping around here. I know that you loved Monte, but she cheated on you with one of our high school classmates. And might I add you did the same thing," I say.
