Chapter 13: Pool Party

That friday afternoon, Logan planned a pool party for Abby, Gianna, the girls and the moms so they could spend an off day together and at his house, there were some food like chips, chicken, sandwiches. Drinks like fruit punch, orange juice and Logan told the moms, no alcohol, much to the dismay of Christi and Kelly.

They were in the kitchen and were sitting at the table and eating and also at the house was Logan's grandmother, Maryen and a bichon frise dog that Abby owned named Broadway Baby, who was eating some dog food that Logan gave to her to eat.

"Mom, there's something i can't comprehend." Logan admitted.

"What can't you comprehend?" Abby wondered.

"Why Cathy didn't tell us that she didn't show up today."

"I can't comprehend it either." Gianna stated.

"I don't know, we invited her and if she wanted to not show up, she could have warned us in advance." Kelly stated.

"Yeah." Christi agreed.

"Well, Vivi's gonna miss out on a fun day." Kendall said. "Has anyone ever been to a Bulls game?"

"MIss Abby told me that she has taken Logan to a lot of Bulls games." Maddie responded.

"I've been to a few." Brooke stated. "One time, Benny The Bull, who is the mascot was flirting with mom."

"He sure was, he's so funny." Paige chuckled.

"I heard a rumor that Joakim Noah kissed Miss Abby on her cheek." Mackenzie stated as Abby's face turned red. "That's why i think boys are icky. Icky, Icky, Icky, Icky, Icky!"

"Ok, i'll admit. I did get a kiss on the cheek from him." Abby confessed as Logan, the girls, moms, Maryen and Gianna laughed. "A lot of guys come and go, but my son is all the man i need."

"He sure is." Maryen said, smiling at her grandson.

"Awwww." Everyone said.

"Love you like that too, mom." Logan stated, then the girls changed into their swimsuits to get in Logan's pool with Logan and Gianna watching them, but before they could get in, they were waiting for Abby, Maryen and the moms to come to the pool room as the moms were still in the kitchen with Abby.

"Abby, is it true that Logan is a big fan of the harlem globetrotters?" Kelly asked as she and the moms were covering the red, white and blue basketball with grease to make it shine.

"He's a big fan of the harlem globetrotters." Abby replied. "I used to take him to their games when he was little. Whenever we heard that they were coming to Chicago, we'd get tickets."

"I bet he laughed whenever one of the globetrotters pulled the shorts of a Washington Generals down." Holly said.

"He sure did,. Once, it made him fall to the ground laughing uncontrollably." Abby stated.

"They are so funny." Melissa chuckled.

"Is the ball completely covered in grease?" Maryen asked.

"It is." Melissa stated.

"All right, carry it carefully to the pool." Logan stated as Melissa carefully carried the ball to the pool room and the girls were waiting to play the red, white and blue ball game and the objective of the game was that one the girls were gonna have to get the ball and get out of the pool to win, then when they arrived, Melissa tossed the ball into the pool and the girls dove in to get the ball and the first person to get it was Maddie.

"Maddie's got it!" Logan shouted, then it slipped out of her hands as Brooke made a grab for it and she had it now. "Now Brooke's got the ball."

"It's like cats and dogs fighting!" Abby added.

"Honestly, it's kinda tough trying to get a ball covered in grease out of the pool." Maryen stated.

"Yes it is, you think you have it, but it'll fall from your hands so you have to have a good grip on it." Melissa stated and after 5 minutes of the girls trying to get the ball out of the pool, Kendall got it and got out of the pool with the ball.

"We have a winner and it's Kendall!" Kelly exclaimed, then the girls got out of the pool and Logan looked over at his mother, who had a grin on her face and Logan didn't know what she had planned.

"Mom, is something wrong?" Logan wondered.

"Nothing's wrong." Abby responded with a grin still on her face.

Logan raised his eyebrow because he still had no clue on what was going on, then the dance teacher got behind him and grabbed him by his arms and Gianna approached him and grabbed his legs.

"Mom! Gia!" Logan exclaimed as he had a gut feeling that he knew what Abby and Gianna were about to do. "What are you doing?!"

"We love you and all, but we decided that you need to cool down because it's somewhat hot outside." Gianna answered her boyfriend.

"Mom, Gia, please let me go! pretty please with a national title on top?!" Logan said, hoping his mother and his girlfriend would let him go as the alarms went off inside of his head.

Abby grinned widely. "Well, since you said pretty please, all right!"

The dance teacher and Gianna both then tossed him towards the center of the pool.

"YEOW!" Logan screamed as he was sent sailing towards the water. "MO...." Before he could finish what he was about to say, a splash was heard as he was in the pool.

Abby, Gianna, Maryen, The Moms, Kendall and the rest of the girls were all laughing as he was tossed and kept laughing when he surfaced and he glared at them.

"MOM! GIA!" Logan yelled. 'ONE OF THESE DAYS, I'M GONNA GET ONE OF, IF NOT BOTH OF YOU BACK!"

"Well, you're gonna have to come and get us!" Abby teased, but then she felt some hands against her back and she and Gianna both got sent flying into the pool. Logan looked confused at first on who pushed Abby and Gianna in the pool with him and while they were both underwater, he saw that the moms and girls all ran in to the house so they could not be seen, then the two surfaced.

"Abby, what was that about?" Gianna asked after being pushed in the pool.

"I don't know." Abby answered.

"Don't look at me, i didn't do it." Logan said, while snickering.

"Who pushed us?" Abby wondered.

"Like i just said before, i did not do it because i was yelling from being tossed in the pool by you two until you both got pushed in." Logan shrugged, he wasn't gonna tell his mother and his girlfriend that the girls pushed them in as Abby and Gianna swam towards him.

"But you do know who pushed us in, do you?" Gianna asked her boyfriend.

"Ma, Gia." Logan said. "Maybe we should get out of the pool."

Abby and Gianna gave a sigh, knowing that Logan wasn't gonna answer what they asked. They got out of the pool and dried off and the three continued to have fun with the girls and the moms.
