Chapter 12: Brooke and Brandon's Date

The next day, at a theme park in Gurnee called Six Flags Great America, there were roller coasters, a two level carousel water park, games and other rides. There were also sections of the park like Hometown Square, Yukon Territory, Southwest Territory, County Fair, Yankee Harbor, Orleans Place, Mardi Gras and Carousel Plaza.

At the Southwest Terriotry, Brooke and Brandon were walking through as Diane and Kelly were right behind them. They were near a tall ride named the Giant Drop.

"I can't believe Abby and Logan suckered us into going on a date." Brooke said.

"Knowing those two, they'll come up with some ingenious idea." Brandon added. "Do you want to ride the Giant Drop?"

"Sure, why not?" Brooke agreed.

"Have fun and be safe on the ride!" Diane told them.

"We'll be waiting for you when you get off." Kelly added as Brooke and Brandon nodded and they got in line, then when it was their turn, they got on and were strapped in.

The ride starting moving upwards slowly and they saw more and more of Six Flags Great America and also, they could also see the parking lot, the I-294 expressway aka the toll road and the Gurnee Mills mall when they reached the top.

"I feel like we're surfing the wing of a plane." Brooke said.

"Me too." Brandon added.

"When do you think we'll be going down?" Brooke asked as seven seconds had passed.

"From what i found out, we'll be going back down about.......now." Brandon responded and as if he was right on cue, the ride started dropping fast three seconds later. "YEOWWWWWWWWW!"

"AAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!" Brooke screamed and the ride got close to the ground, it began slowing down and it came to a stop when it got back down, they got off and headed to where Kelly and Diane were sitting.

"Hey, how was the ride?" Diane wondered.

"It was good, we saw Gurnee Mills, the expressway, the rest of the park and the parking lot." Brooke responded, then later on, they were in the Yukon Territory and were now on the Winner's Circle Go-Karts with Brandon driving and Brooke riding with him.

"I'm so glad that you're here with us even if it's only for this week." Kelly told Diane.

"I know. You, Christi and i don't get a chance to hang out a lot because you're frequently with Abby, Logan, the girls and the moms." Diane admitted.

"Diane, i've called a lot and most times you don't answer." Kelly said.

"Honestly, i try to stay away from the drama." Diane told her.

"I don't blame you and our classes are at the same time since Chloe and Paige are in the same age category and that's why we haven't had the chance to hang out." Kelly explained.

"Now i get it." Diane stated. "I secretly think that Brandon and Brooke still like each other."

"Me too, if the chemistry that Gianna and Logan have had made them fall in love, maybe it could work for Brandon and Brooke." Kelly added as Brooke and Brandon were seen getting off of the go-karts later.

"Brooke, when i get my driver's license, can i drive you around?" Brandon wondered. "I promise that i won't try to crash."

"Forget about it, maybe one of the other older girls would jump at the chance of you driving them around." Brooke answered.

"So what's your opinion on Abby and Logan sending us on a date?" He asked.

"They're so weird, you never know what they'll plan." Brooke replied.

"But you know where they're coming from." Brandon said.

"Nope and i do not think we'll have the same chemistry like we used to."

"Well, last week, Gianna and Logan went on one of their dates here and from what we found out, they had an amazing time and they've had amazing chemistry since they were little and danced for Abby."

"That's them and why can't we move on to something else?" Brooke suggested. "Maybe one of those older girls would love to date you and have some chemistry and maybe i might set you up with one of them."

"Since you say so, let's go to our moms." Brandon told her as they both headed to Diane and Kelly.
