Saturday had arrived and at the Nate Holden Performing Arts Center, where Hollywood Vibe was being held at, Abby, Logan, Gianna, the girls and moms were in a dressing room that said ALDC and the girls were getting ready for the competition.
"Remember what we've told you so many times before, when you leave that stage, the dancer after you better think it's one of your best performances that they have ever seen." Logan told the girls.
"Also, this is the last competition before we head to Lake Tahoe for Nationals, so you need to be seen!" Abby added, then she noticed that Brookie raised her hand to ask them something. "Do you have a question, Brookie?"
"Miss Abby, not to intrude or anything, but how would Logan get ready in the dressing room before he competed?" Brookie asked and Abby and Gianna both looked at Logan as to say that he could answer that.
"Well, Brookie, after i would get into my costume, i'd find a corner in the dressing room and i meditate to get me focused and it helped me out a lot." Logan said.
"That's interesting to know." Hollie told him.
"It sure did help him." GIanna added.
Then all of a sudden, the door from the hallway opened and walking in was none other than Cathy and Vivi, but they were not alone, with them was a eight year old boy with orange hair and a ten year old girl with blonde hair.
"Surprise, everyone!" Cathy exclaimed as Abby and Logan's eyes went wider than saucers as seeing Cathy again and the moms, girls and Gianna looked at each other with confused expressions on their faces on wondering why Cathy was in California when she was usually competing in the midwest and east coast.
"Just when you thought that was the last we'd ever hear of her..." Gianna muttered.
"But we were wrong." Christi added.
"What is she doing here?" Holly asked.
"I have no idea." Hollie responded.
"Me either." Melissa admitted.
"Hopefully we're about to find out why Cathy decided to show up." Kelly said.
"What on earth made Cathy to come California?" Abby asked her son, raising her eyebrow.
"Honestly, i don't think she has ever competed in California." Logan said.
"I know, right?" Kendall agreed.
"Everyone, i'd like to introduce you all to somebody, this is Justice McCourt and Taylor O'Lear, they dance for the Candy Apples Dance Center in Canton. Taylor has three titles under her belts." Cathy introduced.
"Wow, that's great. But those are nothing compared to the eight consecutive national titles that i've won when i was dancing for my mom. Also, i've won six regional titles and many other titles." Logan responded, crossing his arms.
"Whoa, i'll admit, that is amazing." Taylor admitted.
"Seeing that my child actually goes to school, i bet yours didn't and that is the reason why he won those titles!" Cathy sneered.
"My son attended school too until he graduated from high school three years ago, but at least he did a great job juggling dance and school!" Abby told her.
"It's obvious that Cathy brought Taylor in to go against Maddie, Kendall and Nia." Chloe told the girls.
"That is very likely." Brooke stated.
"In case i forgot to tell you, Vivi and Justice have a duet together and i'm thinking that they'll be going up against Mackenzie and Brookie, who i found out replaced Vivi on the ALDC's junior elite soloist division." Cathy informed, looking at Brookie and Mackenzie.
