I wasn't welcomed anywhere in the pack house. I new that by the stares I received, before quickly looking away from them. I didn't want to be here, and yet I was stuck being treated like trash, by the person who was supposed to treat me like a Queen. The moon goddess was cruel with her ways, at least my mother and father were civil towards each other.

He had met her during a pack search, except she was only visiting his pack to find new males to play with. She was a player with the boys, always making them fall for her then breaking their heart. She never told me why she would do that, take the sweetest boys and break them. She was considered ruthless.

When they met instantly they both walked the other way, wanting no interest in sealing their life to someone already. So what did they do? That night they both hooked up with someone else. The next day the two were furious with the other, funny to think that they both were in the wrong and both blamed the other.

After a few months my mother was set to go to her home pack; Grey Pride. Only her heat came the day before, and with the two almost rejecting each other and resisting the mate pull, their wolves went ballistic and completed the mating bond. Only to find out that they no longer could be apart with the pup they had created on the way.

Their life wasn't a romantic tale they wanted to tell, usually most wolves human sides are less submissive into the mate bond. While wolves always push forward and get what they want, it's the moons way of life.

I new I wouldn't end up with what they had, they wasted so long fighting each other only to have a small twenty five years to love one another. But I'm sure they never regretted a minute of it, I wouldn't. Right about now I would trade anything to have a second mate, one who would treat me like I would treat them. With respect and love, those things don't exist here.

I made it back outside, into the deep woods knowing I'd have to shift and stay here for the night. Slipping out of the t-shirt I look down at the battle wound I received today. It was blackish red, healing slowly as the bleeding finally stopped. Sighing I shift into the beautiful red wolf I was blessed with today, making my wolf wag her tail inside my head with happiness.

It began to get chilly out and we had to find a large tree or a log to sleep by, maybe a cave if we got lucky.

After a half an hour we could only find a cluster of trees in a shape of a semi circle, something the block the wind from our fur. Crawling into a sleeping position I place my tail over my snout and close my eyes, shivering as I try to fall asleep. Hopefully it will get better.

I hummed a tune I couldn't remember as I pushed a cradle back and fourth, it was black oak, dark and stained. Looking very modern as white empty sheets clothed the baby bed. My hand resting on my bump that was only a few weeks away from being full term, the rush of excitement buzzed through me as I felt those eyes on me.

"You look... beautiful, how's my pup doing?" I look over watching as Sebastian walks over to me, he looked much bigger, arms rippling with definition in his grey suit he wore, his dark black hair styled nicely like he had just came from a meeting.

"She's doing fine," I say standing up gripping the cradle as I do for help, which Sebastian is quick to take its place. "We need to think of names soon." He nods placing his hand on my stomach, shocking me quickly as his heat spreads into me. He didn't notice me flinching thankfully, he was very protective of his pup. Never have I seen him like this.
