Built To Be Stronger

Chapter 7

His voice shuddered my skin coating it with a warm glow, as it shook the walls. I was frozen in place as I hoped to goddess it was someone else's mate. Then again I new it was him.

"Alpha she's going to go into shock we need to do some-"

"Enough Neil! back away, I will not have a uncertified doctor touch my mate!" A few gasps filled my ears, as if they didn't hear it a first time. Now it was clear to everyone down here who I was here for, or who I was forced with. I couldn't contain the bubbling forcing itself into my throat. The uneasy feeling as if you got caught with crumbs on your face from a cookie you stole, I new everyone had seen me like that now.

"Alpha you cannot move her, she is too weak and may-"

I cry out again with tears bursting down my face as I could feel the pain streaming through my lungs. Wolfsbane curdling my blood cells as they are unable to fight back against the poison. I felt where my veins stayed in my body as they melted from the heat. Reaching my arteries and flooding into my heart. Wolfsbane was a blood curdling way to die.

Everything slowed as the pain dimmed, I was in someone's arms as their body moved slowly all the while mine collided up and down. I could barley tell I was being transported, but I new I was no longer going to stay in the arms that cradled me.

Sad to think I wouldn't survive a day without my mother, I thought I could make her proud. I start to envision a lighter world. Where I see my mother, light surrounded her body. Then the image changes to Sebastian with gold fluttering around him as he smiled deeply back at me. His hands holding my own with warmth all around me. It showed him as a good man with life in his eyes. Not a sliver of what I've already seen.

Okay now I know I'm delirious.

My last thoughts go out to my pack, my brother and my father. The ones I love so dearly, I could almost see my pack fearing Black Heart more seeing I died after one day. Maybe they wouldn't even hear of my death till months later, at least it would give them time to grieve for my mother.

Almost as my thoughts collapsed on themselves I was stuck looking through my eyes. Unable to move, a faint beating of my heart still working in my chest as bright lights sprawled over my body. I tried to move but my limbs were like stone.

Voices suddenly became more understandable but mine wouldn't work.

"We are loosing her!"

"I WILL KILL ALL OF YOU-"

"You are not helping! Please leave so I can do my job Alpha!"

And just like that I was gone.

"Sophia!" My name is called out and I turn around, I was stuck in a black void, my feet standing on water like it was solid ground. I had no clue where I was, or how I got here. I only new my name. My mind was numb as a deep voice called me again, I couldn't understand why or who it was.

"Hello!?" I yell out, trying to search for a person or really anything, being in the dark was a fear I could never get over.

"Sophia please! Save me!" I didn't know what possessed me but I started running, kicking my feet along as water sprayed behind me. I felt like I wasn't even moving at all, nothing in my sights changed. "Sophia you have to save me! Save us!" I cried out as I fell to my knees, the voice painfully loud in my head. Forcing me to claw at my skull with my nails as they grew into claws, my body seemed to follow the shift. Transforming myself slowly and painfully as the voice amplified in my mind.
