"Sophia," opening one of my eyes I look up to the blue sky above me. Moving my arms I sit up on my forearms, looking around to see the nice green grass. "Sophia." A voice was more demanding this time, soft with a hidden power laced to it. One I couldn't deny.

"What?" I growl out, I felt light as a feather as I stood up, twirling around as I look at the pretty meadow that was surrounded with large oak trees. It would be a perfect place to set up a pack, lots of resources and land.

"If you don't wake up soon a war will start, one that is a death sentence for White Forest pack," I couldn't completely understand who the person talking was, a female based on the light voice. Although it wasn't coming in a certain direction.

Turning around the meadow was destroyed, blood and bodies littered the place. Trying to look away I turn to face Xerxes, his wolf struggling to breathe. Tuning towards him I place my hand on his nose, he whimpers in pain as his blood covers my hand.

"No, no Xerxes, stay with me!" He whimpers out a last whine and his chest stops moving, the life in his blue eyes diminishes as they close. "Xerxes! Stay with me!" I scream as I hit his paw that laid by his nose, closing my eyes I kiss his snout. Ignoring the warm liquid that tried to push its way into my mouth.

"This was all for you, and the pup." I open my eyes, and the meadow was restored to the green life. Wiping my tears I look at the place my dying brother laid. Now flowers took his place, I stood up.

"What? Why me? And what pup?" I ask the questions, demanding an answer. Only I was met with a letter appearing in my hands, stamped closed. Addressed to Xerxes, I tried to open it but it was impossible my nails couldn't penetrate it.

Everything started to filter away, turning white as I tried to yell at the voice to answer me. Only I was met with a black out.

Sophia's POV:

Gasping I shoot up from my laying position. I was in a random room, it looked like I was still in the cabin based on the log walls.

I really gotta stop waking up in random places.

Looking on the side table the letter was still there, grabbing I tried to open it once again. Wanting to see if my answers where hidden in this stupid letter. Again it was unable to be open by my hands, getting off the bed I open the door and leave the room, using my nose to sniff out Xerxes.

Running down the stairs I grab a hold of the railing as I miss the last four steps reaching the kitchen. Where my brother sat with his head in his hands, I didn't think into why he was like that and just ripped on his shoulder.

"What the- Sophia? What is it?" He asks standing seeing my frantic face, and my obvious short breaths. I shove the letter into his chest and he grabs it, ripping it with ease making me roll my eyes. Stupid letter.

Grabbing the piece of paper out of his hands I try to read it, only to not understand the weird symbols. I couldn't recognize it, like it wasn't even a language.

"That is not for your eyes. Only Blood Ravens can read it." I groan and give it back to him, where he reads it with clear understanding.

"Well?" I ask and he puts the letter down and grabs my hand pulling me out of the cabin, "What was it?" I ask again and he just pushes me outside the cabin, shifting and without a word throwing me on his back. His wolf was a lot larger than I remember, only he was a white wolf now. Purple markings lining his fur like a tattoo, but it was shining and sparkly.

He begins running quickly and I gasp onto his fur, griping for dear life as he leaped down the pathway that took us a while to get up to.

In mer minutes we where outside the pack house, he shifts and I cover my eyes not wanting to see my brother naked. Only to find out his close don't rip, I was very jealous at this point.
