"W-what?" I stutter backing away I put some distance between us, it made sense to me now.

His eyes flicker back between white and the icey blue flecks I first saw, now I couldn't pin point what meant who? Like a burning question that can't be answered. Even though he just told me a big one, trying to explain the bad reasoning for who he was, and why.

A wolf gone savage has usually had their heart ripped out or burned by something so powerful, that their emotions turn off. Guilt, love, affection none of that exists when they do that, like a little switch in the back of their head.

Vampires have this too, a humanity switch that lead to destruction to anyone who uses it in such ways, in rare cases wolves get them too. Like a little escape route that the sun implants into our minds, one our own goddess can't remove as her sister plays with her children. Messing with her plans, like most sisters do, except destroying a whole community by a little switch.

She may see it as a gift, giving it to her Vampire beings she created, a way out to live life like it's 'supposed' to be lived. With no guilt, no regrets, no feelings but fun and mischief.

I knew little to nothing about vampires unless it came to knowing their weakness, it was a part all wolves had to understand for when they get older. Vampires are our worst enemies, luckily they mostly lived up north, staying were it's damp and cloudy. No sun can penetrate them, only few have a day light ring.

The switch however is like a curse to wolves it's almost impossible to get it back on. Generally you have to use a mate or a close family member, anyone that was close to the wolf before it went rogue.

This happens a lot to rogues, could be the reason they got kicked from their pack, a danger to society. Destroying yet another life thanks to the moons sister.

In Sebastian's case he's an Alpha, a savage one that doesn't feel anything but rage, greed and a sick twisted humour. I heard this happened to his father too; X who wasn't even as horrible as Sebastian's wolf.

Alphas emotions are already in heightened with the extra power the moon grants a leader of a pack, with an emotion switch... the pack goes down with the Alpha.

"Somehow when the moons out I have enough power to block him out. He watches everything that happens-" my eyes widen, the moon shines down on his back like she was witnessing this happen. Like she's done all along, witnessing it but letting it be, letting many suffer at the hands of her sisters doing.

I wasn't about to let him think I could ever trust him again, he told me all too much, and I would use it against him.

"It was you," his eyes reach mine as they plead guilty, deep down trying to hide it. Ashamed he let his head fall, his hair covering his broken pride, if this side of him even had any left after he watches his wolfs actions go through without him having any say. But he had all say that night, and he turned even more cruel than I've ever seen a man. Taking what was the only thing I could control away from me. "You-? You were the one who mated with me?" I say backing away from him, he tried to take a step closer to me but I held my hand out. My wolf was growling in my head. Letting me know all too well that she made that choice on her own. Snapping at me to stop playing the victim when it was really her choice all along.

I couldn't believe this.

"Sophia you where in heat. There's nothing that can stop a mate bond in that moment. With a full moon!" He reasons. He wasn't far off. The moon and heat and mates would definitely be something to blame.

The constant pain playing with my heart, my mind, everything that was so well protected. Maybe if I had a real life without the overprotective family I could be more prepared for this. I doubt it once again, like I doubt how the moon actually cares about her children.
