Everything I like about me, is you. -Tyler Lockwood

I walk down the school corridor towards my locker. It has been 2 weeks since my first date with Kyle, during which we have had several hangouts and numerous hot make out sessions. Its almost the end o four senior year, which means the two most awaited events of a students life: Prom and graduation, are just around the corner.
In fact, the prom posters have already been put up on the notice boards since the start of this week. What kind of worries me is that, although there are 2 weeks until prom, Kyle still hasn't asked my yet. Its too soon, I know, but Theo has already asked Nina and all day long, I see boys asking girls to prom, except my boyfriend. I am honestly going paranoid over this. But. Hey people?! Its prom!!!
Anyways. 3 weeks until the end of our senior year means that the end of the season football game is also here. Which is today. And that is why the coach is not letting Kyle out of his sight for the past few days. He even makes them practice after school. Which means much less Kyle for me and more and more Kyle for the coach.
Stupid silly coach.
As I reach my locker, I see Nina already waiting for me near it. I walk over to her, greet her a good morning and proceed to pour my books into the locker.
"So, no Kyle this morning either?," Nina asks.
"Nope," I say, popping the p.
Its sad how Kyle is the vice captain so he is with the coach all the time. Unlike Theo and Mason, who are only on the team and therefore the coach doesn't trap them in the ground all day long.
"Whoa, someones grumpy," Mason says as he approaches us.
"We'll see who's grumpy when your girlfriend is away from you for 3 whole days," I snap at him.
"And that is why I don't have a girlfriend, love," Mason winks.
"Go away," I give him a slight playful push.
"Wish granted. You wont be seeing me or Theo," he says, glancing at Nina, "until tonight's game. Its practice all day long. I'll see you guys later," he says, ruffling my hair, earning a groan from me, and walks away.

Tring!!
My phone vibrates in my pocket and I take it out to see a message from Kyle, but not before I see Nina pass me a death glare.
"Keep that thing shut. I swear to God, if Ms. Amber sees you, we're both dead meat," she says, not taking her eyes off the board.
"Oh hush. She wont see me. Its been decades since I talked to my boyfriend," I whisper back and she rolls her eyes.
I open my phone to read the message which says:
Hey. I am so sorry for the past three days, but Im stuck here and the coach will kill me if I leave. Now you dont want me dead right? But to make it up to you, I promise you mac and cheese at your home, cooked by your favorite human in the world. I love you, take care. See you tonight.
I smile at his message and focus my attention on whatever boring lecture Ms. Amber's giving.
Next Scene
I hop out of the car, followed by Nina and we make our way towards the hot dog stand, before going over to sit on the bleachers. Its relatively hot today, so we both were wearing light clothes. I was dressed in a sleeveless, purple-ish top, with blue shorts and brown ankle boots, whilst Nina wore a sky blue button down, paired with blue shorts and nude pumps.
Soon, the game was in full pursuit, people were going wild and I couldn't get much bored as I literally had no clue as to what was going on. All of a sudden, the crowd erupted in cheers, along with Nina, while I stared at the ground to get an understanding of what had happened.
"We won dumbass, wohoooo!!," Nina screams at me, jumping up and down and chanting our team's name along with the crowd.
"Oh Thank God this is over," I take a sigh of relief.
Just when everyone is about to exit the bleachers, a loud announcement makes us stop and we turn our gazes towards the ground. When I squint my eyes to get a proper look, I see Theo at the mic, requesting everyone to be seated for a while and some Plan ACTP kids to come down. Almost half of the crowd goes down to the ground and starts assembling in some sort of pattern. I see the curious and confused looks on everyone's faces, trying to figure out what is happening. All of a sudden the cheerleaders erupt into a series of flips and jumps, chanting a letter with each move.
"C-I-A-R-A.......CCIAARAA," they go and make a huge pyramid.
"Did they just...chant my name?," I look over to Nina and see her slowly nod her head, as shocked as everyone else.
They break the pyramid and scoot off to the side, to reveal the ACTP (whatever the hell that is) kids standing to make a word. And not just any word. They spell:
'PROM?'
Before I can put the pieces together, Kyle's voice booms through the mic.
"Still dont get it huh?," he looks up at me. "Well, Ciara, will you go the prom with me?" he asks.
I see all of the crowd looking at me, awaiting a response. I mutter a Yes, but then I realize that my voice wouldn't reach him, so I just nod my head in response, with a goofy smile on my face. The crowd, once again, erupts into cheers and starts to exit the bleachers, along with me and Nina. I make my over to Kyle and he greets me with a kiss.
"That was amazing," I say, as i rest my forehead against his.
"Anything for you,"he replies.
"How'd you even get those kids and cheerleaders to help you?"
"I just offered them my house for a party tonight," he shrugs. "So, mac and cheese?," he says, offering me his hand.
"Mac and Cheese," I reply, taking his hand.
