"Where is the cake?", I shout over to Mason, who's currently setting up the table.
It is my birthday today and upon Mason insisting, we threw a party for our classmates. There's just one hour or something left until the guests started to arrive. We didnt invite many people, only those who will not have a problem with there being no beer. Since its the middle of the day, I dont want anyone getting drunk in my house.
"Theo and Nina are bringing it," Mason shouts back.
"Oh, yeah right. I forgot," I mutter.
Im almost done with getting stuff ready when Mason appears in the kitchen and leans against the fridge.
"You should go get ready now, whatever's left I'll do it," he says.
"Oh, no, I'm done," I say, wiping my hands on the apron.
Mason walks over to me and unties my apron, taking it off. He then brushes my hair off my face and places a kiss on my lips. I smile at his gesture and place my hands on his chest.
"What are you getting me?", I ask.
"Its a surprise, you'll find out," he grins.
"Is it something to eat?"
"It wouldnt be a surprise if i told you. Go get changed. Everyone would be hear soon."
"Okay, you take care of this," I say pointing at the stuff laid on the kitchen counter.
"Dont you worry, I will," he replies, kissing the top of my head.
I head towards my bedroom and close the door, taking out the clothes Mason brought me yesterday. It was a black top with yellow lips printed on it and a blue printed skirt. I quickly take a shower and put on the clothes. After drying off my hair. I curled them and let them flow down my back. I put on a little makeup and paired my outfit with pink heels.
