Chapter 2 ~ Getting There

Early 2011

Matteo just received the call from his manager that there is an upcoming movie in which he will be introduced . His manager called for a meeting to discuss him about the movie.

" Catch Me , I'm inlove daw ang tentative title ng movie . Magiging third wheel ka dito pero hindi naman masyadong malaki ang part mo para sa conflict . Congrats Matt! You really deserved this project . "

" Who are the main actors po ? "

" Aw , I'm sorry . Naexcite ako sa plot pero hindi ko pa nasasabi sayo yung mga makakatrabaho mo . Sina Gerald Anderson at Sarah Geronimo , new team-up no ? "

" Wow! Sarah G. agad for my first movie ? It's such a lucky break for me ! "

"Yes Matt . Be ready for a meeting with the movie team next week . "

"Thanks bro . "

"Hello , Ate Ana , ang aga pa o ? Napatawag ka ? " Sarah said over the phone.

"Bebe! tuloy na tuloy na ang bagong movie mo with Gerald Anderson ! Meeting sa Monday with the team ha ."

"Ganoon ? Thanks Ate . Another blessing na naman to , Thank you Lord! "

" Yes! Deserved na deserved mo yan Bebe . Bait mo kaya! Isa na lang ang kulang sayo ... Isang matinong boyfriend :) "

"(Laughs) Next topic please . Haha . Pero sure naman ako na everything na nangyayari sa kin may rason e . Hindi ko hahanapin si True Love , sya ang humanap sa akin . ,este , kusa yung darating ate , di ba ? "

" Very well said bebe , Okay be , 5pm may mall show ka after printshoot mo . Punta ako dyan mamaya to discuss some things with Mommy mo . See you! "

" Okay ate! ingat!"

~ Meeting with the casts~

The staffs are already in the room , Mel del Rosario , Mae Cruz (director) , Star Cinema and Viva Films  representatives , script writers,   managers of the casts and personal assistants .

Unang dumating si Matteo. He's in all smiles upon entering the room . He greeted everyone before going into the seat that is prepared for him . Sumunod si Sarah in a light make-up , wearing a simple pink sleeveless blouse and skinny jeans  . She's with Mommy Divine na dumaan lang para batiin ang mga staffs na makakatrabaho ni Sarah . Mommy knows that Sarah should grow up and learn to be independent that's why she seldom go with Sarah . She's just checking her via text or call .

Sarah , in her usual way , greeted all the staffs . She then turned to his friend Matteo. He stood up and pull the chair for Sarah . He greeted Mommy Divine before he turn back to his seat .

"Pop Princess , long time no see and no text "

"Long time ?Last week lang , tinext mo ako after ASAP "

"So you received it ? Yeah , long time , . . . because you're not replying . (smiles) . But it's okay , i understand your schedule . Parang hindi uso sayo ang pahinga (with accent ) "

" Nakakatuwa ka palang magtagalog Matt , stress reliever . hehehe  "

"Thank you (smiles) "

Gerald , a bit late, entered the room . Sarah was amazed with Gerald's look . Fil-am na gwapo at alam nyang magaling na actor . Kinabahan sya ng konti pero bumalik sya sa ulirat nya nang malapit na si Gerald .

"Hi Sarah"

"Hello Gerald (smiles then beso-beso)"

"Bro , Matteo (shakehands)"

The movie team discussed the schedule of the  tapings, the tentative showing date , etc .All enjoyed and are looking forward for the success of the movie .

"Matt , mukha kang kabado , kaya mo yan . Ganyan din ako nung simula. Takot ako sa mga reporters at nung First movie ko , ganyan din ako kaputla bago sumalang sa tapings  " Sarah lightens the mood of Matt who obviously feels nervous to face tons of reporters outside .

Matteo answered all the questions . He feels very shy when reporters are asking him about his admiration for Sarah . He's always saying that they're really good friends .

Gerald on the other hand is very happy with the interview . He described and gave a hint about the storyline of the movie. His  and Sarah's role.

" Can you describe your ideal woman?" asked by a press .

"Simple. Mabait. Maganda. Masarap kasama." Gerald proudly told them.

"For you, paano mo maiinterpret yung love, yung meaning ng love sa movie na ito?"

"Wow! Sa movie, makikita ninyo na hindi talaga planado yung love. Dito magkasama lang kami ni, nung character ni Sarah sa immersion, kasi iyun yung nangyari sa amin kaya kami nagkasama ng matagal. Dun kami nagkabonding at naging close. Kumbaga kahit saan, pwedeng magstart yung love. So unexpected siguro, ang love."

"Ano pa ba yung dapat na abangan ng mga tao sa movie na ito?"

"Iyung tambalan namin ni Sarah! First time ever! Tapos sa movie pa. Pareho kaming kinakabahan. But yun nga, isa lang ang goal namin, ang mabigay yung best namin at maganda ang kalabasan ng pelikula."

Matteo simply stares at Sarah everytime she answers the press . He really was amazed with her simplicity and her bungisngis . He really can't imagine that he's now working with her.

"After A Very Special Love and You Changed My Life, ngayon ka na lang ulit gagawa ng movie with Star Cinema. How is it working again with Star Cinema?"

"Very excited! Looking forward to doing a good project. Kasi known naman ang Star Cinema sa mga pelikulang magaganda talaga, high quality. And of course ang mga cast. So, from Star Cinema, expect mo na talaga na maganda."

"This time kasama mo si Gerald Anderson. What's your initial reaction?"

"Well ang tagal na po kasi nito! Matagal ko nang naririnig. Pero ito finally nagkatotoo na. Mukhang may blessing na naman sa mga tao, pinagsama mo pa ang Star Cinema at Viva Films, so blessed kami nila Gerald at pinagkatiwala sa amin ang project na ito."

"May mga preparations ka bang ginawa, sa team up ninyo ni Gerald?"

"Honestly, wala. Nung nakilala ko naman sila Direk Mae, si Gerald, at ibang cast, nagkaroon kami ng meeting, usap lang kami. Kinilala namin ang isa't isa. After that, naging komportble na! May konting ilang pa siguro dahil hindi naman talaga instant yung pagiging komportable sa isang tao. Pero naka-tulong iyung meeting sa rapport namin. At si Matteo , kaibigan ko na po sya , natutuwa po ako na kami yung kasama nya sa first movie nya"

"Para kay Sarah Geronimo, ano yung ideal man?"

" Ano ba? Basta ako lang ano. Sana may hawig sya kay Papa P. Hehehe! Sana kung pagbibigyan ni Lord, sana guwapo, kahit hindi sobrang gwapo, gwapo ng konti. Pwede na yun. Mga ilang percent lang pwede na. Hehe Sana maganda ang mata. God fearing. Respectful. Yung mamahalin din buong pamilya ko at ako, syempre mapapatunay mo rin yun kung talagang mahal ka nung isang tao kung ready din syang kilalanin at mahalin ang mga taong mahal mo."

Gerald didn't expect that Sarah is quite a bubbly lady . She lightens up the mood of everyone when she's around . He's really happy because he was chosen to be her leading man after her two successful projects with John Lloyd Cruz . He maybe has a bit of nervousness for the success of their movie but he feels much excitement knowing that he will be working with the Popstar Princess.
