Chapter 34 ~ Mirror , Mirror

"Kayong dalawa, Hello, hello naman sa ibang mga friends dyan! (laughs) Namiss ka rin naman ng iba Sarah. (laughs)" Coco told Sarah and Matteo. He walked in to their table to personally greet them.

"Co, papunta na sana kami sa may place nyo pero naunahan mo lang ako. (smiles). Later, lalakad ako para batiin ang lahat. Promise!"

"Sure yan ha!"

"Sure!"

She stood up and moved to every tables nearby. Matteo was talking to his group of friends while Sarah was also doing the same thing with her friends. Until there's one table left for Sarah, it was Gerald's seat. Maja was on the US for a series of Charity show that's why she wasn't able to be with her boyfriend.

"Bro, she's here, ready ka na bang makausap sya? Lahat ng table, nalapitan na nya. Andito pa naman si Ate Nhila, close din sya kay Sarah di ba? Tsaka ako din, chance ko na para makapagpapicture ulit sa kanya. Ano bro?" Young JV told him.  He could feel that Ge was trembling but he really wanted to see Sarah again.

"Wala na naman kaming dapat pag-usapan bro. Aalis na lang ako."

"Oops bro, that will be a very wrong move. Magiging obvious na iniiwasan mo sya. E tutal, matagal na naman yung issue nyo, time na to reconcile!"

"Nandyan si Matteo! Ano na lang ang sasabihin nya kapag nakita nyang kinakausap ko si Sarah?"

Ate Nhila heard the two and told them that she will be the one who will talk to Matt.

"Basta Ge, for closure na ha! Wala ng iba pa! I'll trust you on this one. Wag kang gagawa ng ikasisira ng pangalan mo. Alam mo naman na hindi ka pa nakakabangon kagaya sa carreer  mo noong 2012 kaya please, wag kang kikilos ng mali. Punta muna ako saglit kay Matteo, babalik ako kapag nandyan na sya. Please settle on your issues with her."

"Yes Ate, don't worry. Saglit lang to."

Gerald saw her looked around the venue, checking for tables that she still needs to attend to. Then she saw their seat; she smiled and stood up.

"Bro, andyan na! Sasalubungin ko lang ha!" Young JV told Ge.

A sudden change in the rate of his heart-beat bothered him.  He still finds her as the 'Most Elegant' woman in the industry. He missed those smiles and the shoulder-pat that she used to do to him every time he's teasing her.

"Ate Nhila! kamusta? Matagal-tagal na rin na hindi ko po kayo nakita. (laughs)" They hugged each other  before she sitted on the chair which Young JV offered to her.

Gerald didn't know what to do when Sarah greeted him. He smied at her and she smiles back. He couldn't find any awkward feeling from her. She talked so normal, like the way she was talking with her friends.

He was tensed and his voice was cracking, " Kamusta ka na Sarah?" he finally uttered a word.

"Okay lang Ge, medyo pagod. Sobrang napapagod pero worth it naman lahat. Si Ate Maj pala? Kanina ko pa sya hinahanap."

"Ah, may projects sya sa US ngayon, for a charity show."

Because he doesn't want to end the conversation so he can have a chance to say sorry for what he have done, he asked her about Matt even he doesn't really have the right to do it.

"Ah, okay naman kami. Kinailangan ko nang umuwi para naman makabawi sa kanya. (smiles) One week lang ako dito Ge, tinatapos ko lang yung kontrata ko doon, mas okay pa rin dito sa Pilipinas."
