The wind was lightly blowing through my hair as I held my hand out the open window of Simon's Range Rover.

He has been quiet the whole time he was driving, silently paying attention to the road ahead. I didn't understand the sudden interest in the concrete in front of us. We were surrounded by a forest and all we could see ahead was white.

I hear the boy next to puff out some air and sigh, relaxing his arms and leaning back onto the seat. I look over and spot Simon gazing all over my face in the rearview mirror. He closes his eyes as soon as he sees mine and looks away.

"I'm sorry," he mumbes.

I don't respond to his apology, partially because I don't know how.

"I didn't mean to," he proceeds, trying to suck out an answer from out of me.

"Why?" I asked him, referring to his arms, which were covered by the long sleeves of yet another hoodie.

He sighs once more before looking down.

"My dad makes me do it."

I freeze in my spot, the responses all rushing around inside my head, trying to pick out the best one. Finally, I decide to go with the most reliable one: silence.

------

The moon has just begun to show once Simon began to slow down. The stars were barely visible, perhaps because there aren't many in my area.

"Where are we?" I ask.

"Just go with the flow," he easily says back and parks the car in a small opening. Next to us was an open path into a forest and yet another cliff right in front.

"Are you here to murder me?" I joke and he smirks.

"If I wanted to kill you, I'll find a more creative way to do it."

I exit the vehicle and join Simon on the other side as he gets out, instantly taking my hand. Butterflies errupt from the sudden contact as I stand with my eyebrows slightly raised, but don't pull away. Something about his touch is calming, putting me in a secure state.

"What's the plan?" I question as I pull down on the hem of my shirt, trying to fiddle with at least something to not loose contol. He notices and smiles to himself, trying not to let me see.

"We walk around and then I show you a spot I enjoy visiting once in a while."

"Isn't that the other cliff?"

"Yes, but this one's better."

I stop talking although my head is still bursting with unanswered questions.

His grip on my hand gets tighter as he leads to the path into the deep forest as I hope for nothing other that his hands to hold me forever.

------

After walking for what seemed like hours and loosing outselves in pointless conversations, we sit down on a log I spotted not long ago.

Silence comes on like a wave and we sit in peaceful quiet once more. I take this as a chance to engulf my surroundings properly. The already dark sky has begun to allow stars shine down on us and the what seemed like eerie trees have turned into part of the picture and without them it wouldn't be the same.

"Penny for your thoughts?" I hear Simon ask as he runs his arms down my knee, touching it ever so slightly.

I melt under his touch, smiling as he does so.

"Nothing much, just.." I begin to explain something that I don't even know how to.

"Just..?" He eggs me on.

"Just you." I say, regretting it straight after.

We're quiet once more when Simon suggests we go back to his car.

"Already?"

"I have an idea. Just follow me." Simon says with a trustworthy smile.

I'm cautious to believe that whatever he will do is safe but go along with it anyway.

-------

On the way to the car I text my mother that I will be out late, not waiting for her response. I stand still in my tracks as I type out the text and see Simon go forward.

I look up from my phone and see him climbing on top of hood, patting the spot next to him. I realize that he wants me to lie down beside him as I do as told.

We watch the stars sparkle away, out peace not being disturbed my a single sound. The city below us shines with lights and lamps down every road, the bustly highways and busy streets slightly distracting from the view. The cliff which the car is parked on really gives off a mysterious atmosphere, the forest acting like a protective shielf from behind us.

I look over at Simon, who seems to be more intersted in me than the sky above.

I smirk at his actions as he mimicks me and turns to his side, sliding closser and placing a hand on my stomach.

I was never the skinniest girl when it comes to sizes and appearances, always carrying a bit of fat and thickness to my body, but this never bothered me as I learned to love myself the way I am.

I turn to my side and bore my eyes into his and we focus on each other for the next few moments before he connects his lips to mine.

His plump lips rub over mine for what was hopefully forever. I furrow my eyebrows at the thought, hoping that this is the way it will be. After a good several minutes of doign so, he rolls on top of my, propping himself up with his knees on each side of me and holding my two hands in a bent position above my head.

He holds both my wrists with one hand while playing with my shirt, pulling it up every so often. I look at him, our eyes speaking without us even opening our mouths.

Finally, Simon allows me sit up slightly, helping my pull my shirt above my head as he throws it on top of the car.

Doing the same with his own, he begins to play with the buttons of my shirt and undoes them in the process, taking them off as well.

I reconnect our lips, not wanting the flaming sensation in my stomach and heart to stop, while the stars atop watch Simon and I become one.
