Emelia's pov:
"Mommy." I heard the faint voice of my little girl and I looked up to see her in thr doorway of our room. "Hey sweetie. Come here." I said and she jumped on the bed, crawling in under the covers with me. "Are you and daddy fighting?" She asked as I brushed hair out of her face.
"No honey we're just having some trouble. But all will be good." I said and she sighed, resting her head on my chest. Just then Shawn came in and she sat up to get off the bed. "Want me to take you to bed darling?" He asked but she shook her head. "It's okay daddy. Goodnight." She said and walked to her room.
I can see this is hurting Shawn. But it hurts them more to not have a dad. "Emelia. Please." He whispered as he layed down behind me after getting dressed in his nightwear. I sighed and turned out the light. "Goodnight." I said and he turned around. "I love you." He said after a while and I felt the tear sliding down my cheek.
*flashback* Me and Shawn are the high school sweethearts. But things aren't that easy when he's the hunk of the achool and all the girls want him. Lexi Reigh is breaking us apart. "I love you Emelia Rhodes." He said standing on the grass outside my window. This is so cliche. He's in the pouring rain, expressing his love to me. "I love you to Shawn Mendes." I said and he crahsed his lips to mine as I ran my hands through his wet hair. "I'll never let anything come in the way of us again." He said after pulling away and I rested my forehead against his. "You're my everything." I whispered and felt his cheek warming up in the palm of my hand. *end flashback*
I opened my eyes again and wiped my cheeks. He let things get in the way of us again. He's breaking this relationship and breaking hearts along the way to. I started cying, clamping my hand around my mouth so he doesn't hear my sobs.
"Em? Baby why are you crying?" His whisper came through and I felt his arm wrapping around my waist. That's when I let go and started crying fully. "I'm so sorry." He said and I heard the crack in his voice to.
"Please.. just don't." I said and got up, walking to the spare bedroom and got in bed there.
