Shawn's pov:

I got in the car and drove to Richard's house down the block and saw Micheal sitting outside on the sidewalk. He was on his phone, like always.

He got up when he saw the car but I saw him rolling his eyes when he saw me in the car. He got in the car but didn't say a word to me, just looke dout of the window.

"So... how was your day?" I asked and he just hummed back in response. The silence took over again till I pulled up in our driveway. "Why are you like this Micheal?" I asked and he looked over at me, chuckling before he got out of the car.

"Hey. I'm talking to you." I said as we walked into the house. "Why are you even wondering dad? Don't you know!" He yelled, throwing his bag down on the couch. I walked into the living room and stood infront of him.

"You wanna talk dad. Common let's talk." He said in a cocky attitude as he crossed his arms over his chest. "Don't even think about intimidating me." I said and he shook his head. "Where were you dad?" He asked and I looked down at the floor.

"You know what. Don't even answer that. You didn't even apologize or say that you're proud of me." He said and I looked back up at him. "I won a trophy for best player of he year you know! And you weren't even there. You didn't even see it." He said grabbing his bag and walked upstairs.

Emelia was standing at the top looking down on the argument we're having. "You're the best player? Micheal that's amazing." I said amazed but he just shrugged his shoulders, laughing. Why is he laughing? "Why? You don't even care. That's why I gave it to Chris. He deserves it more than me, and you should've seen the proud look on his fathers face. Now that's what I wanted, but guess what. You weren't there. Surprise surprise." He said and my heart sank to the ground.

Why did he give his trophy away?

"Micheal!" I yelled but he walked off and slammed his door shut. "Emelia." I said but she also just shook her head, lifting her hands up in defense and walked to the rooms.

*flashback* Micheal is playing his first soccer game today and he is so excited. You should see the look on his face. Me and Emelia were on the bleachers, cheering him on as he ran around on the field. He really enjoys this. I'm never missing one of his games. Never. "Yes!" I yelled jumping up when Micheal scored the final goal for the team. He ran up to my and I swooped him up in a hug. "I'm so proud of you." I said covering his face with kisses. *end flashback*
