Chapter 10

What was minutes felt like hours of being in this torture cave. Annabel was still crying on the ground wishing that Richard would hurt no one else. Then she heard footsteps coming to the door. Annabel stayed on the ground hoping no one would see her.

"You see what you made me do Annabel," Richard told Annabel while trying to get her to talk back to him. Annabel stayed on the ground hoping Richard would leave her alone. "I needed to do that so you would get it through your head that I'm in charge now. If you don't listen to me then there will be more harm towards your friends," Richard sounded angry at Annabel. He slammed his foot into the door. He wasn't able to feel a thing while Annabel jumped when he did that. "If you don't want to see anyone else get hurt then you will talk to me," he sounded more angry then last time.

"Gwen never did anything to you and yet you kill her, who does that do a 14 year old. Oh wait I know, monsters like you," Annabel responded back. Then Richard kicked the door again, this time making Annabel get up and move to the bed turned away from Richard.

"You shouldn't be talking to your mate like that. I only did that to teach you a lesson to never run off again," Richard sounded like he was about to cry but laugh at the same time. Annabel then crossed her arms as Richard watched her.

"I'm not your mate and I never will be, now leave me the hell alone. You locked me in here to stay out of trouble and I can't do that if your here," Annabel talked back to Richard. Then Annabel heard the door unlock. She heard the creek on the door but didn't turn around to look at Richard.

"No I locked you in here so you wouldn't try to escape or get the pack free," Richard said as he whispered it into her ear. Annabel was about to get off the bed until Richard grabbed her with his arms. Annabel didn't say a word, she started to struggle. Richard then had a tight grip of her waist and pulled her back onto his lap. He placed his head on her shoulder.

"You and me belong together," Richard whispered in Annabel's ear again. She then placed her arms on his chest and pushed him away from her.

"Get away from me you freak. Why would I be anywhere near you? You killed my mate and killed a little girl. I only see you as a monster and that's what you will always be," Annabel told Richard as she was finally happy she had the courage to tell him that. She just wish she wounld't regret saying that.

"Your gonna regrate you ever said that to me. I try to do the best I can for you to like me and you repay me by tearing out my heart," Richard was holding his wolf from coming out and making Annabel regrate she ever said that. His wolf took over his body and then used his fast speed ot grab Lightening and Nick. Lightening was the one who would help Brandon look for Annabel when ever she ran off. Richard then held out a gun near there heads.

"Richard stop, you don't want to put me in more pain by killing my friends?" Annabel cried to Richard. She screamed as she heard the bullet go off. She didn't really know Lightening that well but he was the second fastest out of the pack. Nick she knew more because he was with Brandon every time Annabel was with him. Annabel thought to herself, "You think I'm putting you in pain after I'm hearing and watching you kill my only friends. Somehow I will get away from, as will the rest of the pack. If you don't kill them." Richard then whistled to let his pack know to dispose of these two werewolves. Annabel watched as they took her friends away into the forest were something will happen to them. When they reached the end of the cave Annabel could hear the rest of the pack scream when they saw Lightening and Nick dead. Annabel ran out to see the pack crying and screaming. She looked at Rocky and her aunt to see there scared faces. Richard then came up behind her and grabbed her by the arm, where her cuts were.

As Annabel felt the pain in her arm, Richard softly whispered in her ear, "I never said you could leave your room." He then turned Annabel around were she would face the room. He didn't have to do anything else, Annabel started walking in the direction that Richard wanted her to. She knew Richard was following her and once she reached her room she shut the door behind her. Not listening to anything Richard was about she say Annabel ran face down on the bed and started crying. "I can't handle this by myself, I need Brandon with me," Annabel cried to herself. Then she heard a voice talking to her.
