Annette's P.O.V.

After a while Annabel left the house. When she reached the door she changed into her wolf form and ran into the woods. I then came out of hidding and slowly looked around the house.

I needed answers that lead me to my past. If I'm the only one with the answers then I need to remember them. Some how I was able to remember when I was first born. No one can remember something like that. That means that my memory is good but for some reason I can't remember anything.

I don't get what's happening but I need to go back to the place when I first started getting my memory back.

By the time I left the house it was starting to get dark outside. That's just great! Now I'm going to be in the woods, during the night, and also in the dark. What could possibly go wrong?

I walked into the woods, slowly and quietly, hoping to not attrack any attention. When I finally found the tree I slowly walked around it. I could easily tell that this tree was different from every other tree in the woods.

When ever I touched the tree it showed a lovely shade of purple. I quickly took my hand away and looked at the tree in shock.

"What is so different about you?" I mumbled to myself. This tree is not like anything I've ever seen before.

Then I placed my hand on the tree and this time I kept it there. This is what the tree showed me.

The tree showed me Annabel and Brandon only they were younger. They looked like they were a little older than me. Brandon held Annabel's hand in his hand and they watched shooting stars.

Then I noticed something moving in the bushes. The bush moved two more times before Annabel started to get scared. I got so scared and tried to run into Annabel's arms. Instead I just went right threw her.

What's happening? I went to look into the bush and instead I went right threw the bush. Then I noticed a wolf change into a human.

"Sooner or later, she will be mine," the man whispered. No one could even see me. It was like I was a ghost or something.

The tree stopped showing me this stuff when I heard someone yell my name. Then three different people yell my name. I quickly ran towards them and saw Annabel, Brandon, Zander, and Brian. It was pitch black outside.

I was surprised everyone was still looking for me. I guess they really do care about me. I stopped hidding and came out of the bush.

"Hi mom, dad, Zander, Brian," I said while waving to them all. They all stood there shocked for some reason.

My mom was the first one to run to me and squeez me. Then my dad joined in, then my brother, and finally my mate. I was happy, I finally knew where I belonged.

"I'm so sorry for running away," I told everyone while they were squeezing me. I felt my mom's tears rolling onto my shirt.

"It's ok Annette, we're just happy that your back home," my mom told me. I guess I had my grandma to thank for that. If it wasn't for her and showing me how much these people really care about me then I would have never came back to them.

"We just didn't want anyone taking you away from us ever again," my dad said. He sounded said but I could easily tell he wasn't crying. Everyone stopped hugging me and looked at me to see if I was hurt. I guess they were using their wolves eyes to see me in the dark.

"I know, but you should know that Fred is after me," I warned them. I wasn't sure if they knew or not.

"You ran into him?" Brian asked me. Oh! I guess Annabel did tell them that she ran into her mother and she explained everything to her.
