Annabel's P.O.V.
Did my daughter just ask me who I am?I looked and Brandon and was confused for a second. I turned back to Annette who was terrified.
"Don't you know who I am? Who anyone in this room is?" I asked her.
"No sorry, but where is Uncle Jason?" she asked me. I looked at Brandon and saw that his eyes were pitch black, I knew his wolf had taken over. The pack doctor even looked confused at what was going on.
"What's happening?" Brandon asked the pack doctor. The pack doctor checked Annette to see what was happening to her. He was still confused and then thought of something.
"What was her condition when you found her? That will help me with why she is acting this way," the doctor explained. Brandon along with everyone else turned their heads towards me. I was the only one that saw Jason beat her up.
I pulled the doctor out of the room and shut the door behind me. I didn't know how to explain all this without Annette freaking out. She asked where Uncle Jason was? If I just told her what happened to her then she would flip out.
Everyone in Brandon's pack and all of Jen's friends knew who Jason was.
"When Jason was forcing me to do something Annette came in with his dinner. After he shoved it down he was furious with me. He took all of his anger out on Annette," I explained to him. I stood there silent for a minute.
"What did he do to her?" the doctor asked me.
"Jason slapped Annette in the face, punched her in the stomach, when she was on the floor he kicked her in the face," by the time I was finished, tears were falling down my cheek.
"Her getting kicked in the forehead could have done it. Did you see where she was bleeding?" the doctor asked me. I didn't really see where she was bleeding, all I saw was blooding on the floor next to her.
"Not really, why?" I asked him curiously. None of this made any sense. Espacially when Jason had the chance to kill Brandon, but yet he didn't. I'm glad he's dead now but none of this is adding up.
"How much blood was coming out of her?" the doctor asked me. He caught my attention and I was out of my daze.
"There was a lot of blood coming out of her," I replied. "Do you know what happened to her?" I asked him. I was curious to know what he was thinking. He had to know why she was acting this way.
"She lost a lot of blood and she got kicked right on her forehead. If Jason kicked her face any lower she could have been blind, but since it was right on her forehead I think she lost her memory. She was fine on all the test but when she woke up she must have lost her memory of everything that happened," the doctor explained to me.
"She was with Jason her whole life. But she doesn't remember who anyone is?" I asked the doctor.
"I'm sorry, no, the only one she rememebers is Jason. You need to bring her memory back. There has to be something that will make her remember all this. Also I wouldn't say it straight away but you will need to explain to her everything that's happened," the doctor told me.
Didn't really know how I was going to do that. "Thanks doctor," I responded. The doctor left me alone while I headed back into the room to check on Annette. Brandon was still crying and everyone else was disappointed.
"Annette, what's the last thing you remember?" I calmly asked her.
"The last thing I can remember is Jason slapping me for not getting his food in time," she told me. Did she mean right before she got beat?
