Chapter 24- Oh No

Jun's POV

Nancy had to be at the doctor first thing in the morning. She went in and had some tests done, then the doctor said that she would call and give Nancy her results. At 7 a.m. we got a phone call saying we had to come in as soon as possible. When we got to the doctors office they took some more tests, and now we are waiting.

"What if something is wrong?" Nancy panicked.

"I'm sure everything is fine." I said confidentially. Not too long after the doctor walked in. Nancy and I stood up together.

"Is everything ok? Is the baby ok?" Nancy asked quickly.

"There is a problem." The doctor said.

"What's the problem?" I asked as Nancy clinched my hand.

"You can't carry this baby. If you try it will die before you are 4 months into your pregnancy. I suggest you hire someone or ask someone to carry it for you." The doctor said.

"Thank you." Nancy whispered as the doctor walked out. Nancy said nothing the whole way home. I invited Shay and Woozi over. Maybe they could help, besides Shay and Nancy have always been close.

"What's the problem?" Shay asked when they arrived.

"I can't carry the baby." Nancy said sadly.

"Why not?" Woozi asked.

"Because my body can't handle it. If I try to carry this baby it will die before I am 4 months pregnant." Nancy said as a single tear rolled down her face.

"Let me carry it." Shay said.

"You would do that?" I asked.

"Of course. You guys are my friends. I want to help in anyway I can." Shay said happily. Nancy and I hugged and thanked them for coming. We made an appointment for 10 a.m. Shay and Nancy both had tests done. Shay, Woozi, Nancy and I waited. The doctor returned after 30 minutes.

"So how is everything?" Nancy asked nervously.

"I'm sorry, but your friend can not carry your baby Miss Vela." The doctor said.

"Why not?" Shay asked sadly.

"Because you are already pregnant."
