Chapter 48- Nights I Can Remember

The8's POV

I have been sitting in this hospital for 4 hours. Hoshi is laying in the hospital bed with cuts and lots of bruising on his face. He even has a broken nose. I can't stop smiling since he told me he loves me. I have recently started feeling things for him, but I was afraid to say anything. I don't want to loose him, I love him so much and it would pain me dearly to loose him. I watch as his eyes slowly open and he has a confused look on his face.

"Where am i?" He asked as he turned his face towards me.

"You are in the hospital. How do you feel?" I asked.

"I'm ok, just a bit sore. What happened?" He asked.

"You got beat up. Don't you remember?" I asked.

"All I remember is my dad beating me. Then after that I remember nothing." With those words my heart shattered.

"Are you sure you don't remember anything else? Think real hard." I said as my voice broke.

"I don't remember anything else. Is there something I'm supposed to remember?" He asked. Tears then began to fall down my face.

"No. No there's not." I said as the tears rolled down my cheeks.

"Minghao why are you crying?" Hoshi asked. He tried to wiped my tears away, but I moved away before he could. "What's wrong beautiful?" He made my heart ache. He doesn't remember telling me that he loves me.

"I'm fine Soonyoung, I just need some air." I said and quickly left the room. Of all the things to forget, he had to forget the thing that made me the happiest.
