Chapter 42- The One That Got Away

Dino's POV

It's been 1 month since Sandy's death, I'm a mess. The only thing that is keeping me going is the baby. Since Shay is 6 weeks long I was able to find out the gender of the baby. It's a girl. I'm going to name her after her mother. Sandy will always be my one and only. Sadly she is also the one that got away. I will take care of our daughter by myself and with the help of friends. I have no desire to date anyone else. Right now I'm at Shay and Woozi's house. We are talking about what's going to happen after my baby is born. I don't want to bring up the loss of Shay's children, simply because I don't want to upset her. She has really been there for me since Sandy died. She and Woozi are good friends. I love them dearly and I couldn't be more grateful for what they are doing for me. Shay offer to carry my child, right after she lost both of hers. She is a very strong woman and I respect her. Woozi has been there for me a lot as well. If I ever need someone to talk to about Sandy's death, its Woozi. He also was able to tell me how angry he is with Hoshi and how broken he was after his baby died. Woozi was so excited to be a father, even if one of them was Hoshi's he didn't care. He was just excited to have a baby with Shay. I'm amazed that after the death of their child that they are still together, they actually got engaged recently. I remember when Shay was with Hoshi. She was happy you could tell, but she was no where near as happy as she is now. Woozi makes her smile more, makes her laugh. You would be blind not to see how deeply in love they are. It remind me of the love Sandy and I shared. So strong that it couldn't be broken easily. Soon Woozi interrupted my thoughts.

"Are you ok Dino?" He asked.

"Yeah I'm fine. I'm just thinking." I said causally. Woozi then go up from the couch and walked into the kitchen.

"Crap." Woozi said. He then walked out of the kitchen and began putting his coat on.

"Jihoonie what is it? Where are you going?" Shay asked while walking into the room and sitting on the couch beside me.

"I have to go get some chocolate. We are out and I know you will be craving it later." Woozi chuckled. He then walked over to say and kissed her nose. "Don't worry Princess I'll be back soon." He said with a smile.

"You better." She joked. He quickly kissed her lips then walked out the door. "So Dino how are you doing?" Shay asked while placing a hand on my shoulder.

"I'm ok. Thanks to you and Woozi. I also want to thank you for everything you have done for me. I'm extremely grateful Shay. You have no idea how much." I said and smiled at her. I soon lost control of my actions and I leaned in and kissed Shay. After our lips touched she frozen, and then moments later she pushed me away. "Shay I'm so sorry." I said quickly.

"Dino it's ok. Your grief is making you do things that you wouldn't normally do." Shay said with a sad smile. Then Woozi walked in.

"I'm back." He said and then looked at our expressions. "What happened?" He asked.

"I kissed Shay." I said quickly. Woozi gave me a surprised expression.

"I'm sorry what?" He asked.

"Dino kissed me." Shay said.

"Dino, if you were anyone else I would kill you. But since I know you are going through a hard time I'm going to let it slide. Don't let it happen again." Woozi said seriously. That was way too close.
