Chapter 35-Fading

Dino's POV

Today is the day. The day of our wedding. Most people would be happy, but I'm just sad. I'm sad because we only have 7 days left together. I am happy to marry her. I am happy that we have a baby on the way. I'm sad because we won't get to our first anniversary. She won't see the birth of our baby. She will miss so much. I will miss her so much. I love her more than anything in the world. I know she would give anything to stay, but she can't. I'd give anything for her to stay, but I am only a man. I am powerless. A single tear rolled down my right cheek. I quickly wiped it away and made my way to the alter. I waited with my heart in my hands. She slowly walked down the aisle. She looked so pale, but still so beautiful. When it came time for our vows my voice began to break and tears rolled down my face.

My love, my heart, my everything. I know we have only had a short time together, but life without you is going to be incredibly hard. You are my first love, but I know that I will never love anyone the way I love you. Simply because of that I don't think I will love after you. But I want you to know that you are the best thing that has ever happened to me. Thank you for loving me and letting me love you. But above all thank you for existing.

Tears were rolling down my face. Sandy smiled at me and wiped my tears away.

Lee Chan. You are the best man I will ever know and I take pride in the fact that you will be the only man I will ever love. Thank you for not leaving me. Thank you for giving me the love I never thought I would have. You are a wish came true. I couldn't have asked for a better friend, boyfriend, husband, and someday father. Thank you for not leaving when I needed you most and thank you for not letting me push you away. You have given me the best life I could have asked for within 6 months and I can't put into words on how grateful I am for you.

"I now pronounce you man and wife. You may kiss the bride." The preacher said. The tears continued to fall down my face as I kissed her. I kissed her as if it was the last time I would ever kiss her.
