Chapter 53- Please Don't Go

Jun's POV

Nancy and I were laying on the couch, just enjoying our time together. We are so happy because Marcy is 7 months pregnant with our baby. We will soon get to meet the baby. We just got married a couple of months ago. Right now everything seems perfect. Nancy snuggled up into my chest. She has been dizzy and sick to her stomach all day.

"How are you feeling baby?" I asked as I rubbed her stomach.

"I still feel really sick." She said and pulled the blanket over her.

"Are you cold?" I asked.

"Yeah why?" She asked.

"Baby it's 94 degrees outside." I said and I felt her forehead, she is running a fever. "Baby your forehead is warm."

"My sickness can't be that bad. I probably just have the flu. I'll be ok." She said confidentially. I smiled at her.

" I love you." I said.

"And i lo-" she quickly stopped her sentence and raced to the bathroom and began to throw up. But this wasn't normal, she is throwing up blood. I instantly rushed her to the hospital.

(4 hours later)

I waited. I waited for a doctor or nurse. Just someone... anyone to tell me she is ok. The doctor soon came out.

"Are you Nancy's husband?" He asked.

"Yes. Yes I am is everything alright?" I asked.

"No unfortunately." He said sadly.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"She has stomach cancer and we must do surgery ASAP." The doctor said.

"Can I speak with her first?" I asked.

"Yes. But hurry, you only have 5 minutes." He said. I quickly walked into the room and sat down beside her bed. She gave me a sad smile.

"Hey." I said sadly.

"Hey." She said in return. "Do you know about the surgery?" She asked.

"Yes I do." I said.

"I may not see you for a while." She said sadly.

"Just promise me something." I said.

"Anything." She said.

"Please don't go. Do anything, but go. Fight as much as you can without giving up. I need you and so will our baby. So please don't go." I begged.

"I won't. I promise." She said. Then the nurses came in and took her off to surgery. I cried because they may be the last time I ever see her.
