As [Y/N] quivered like a leaf caught in the autumns wind, she felt soft hands stroke her hair tenderly, love she desperately craved was being given to her.
Blue Zircon seated herself on the bed across from [Y/N] her oceanic eyes held mercy and something persuaded [Y/N] to weakly crawl towards her knee.
In a attempt to not frighten [Y/N] Blue patted her knee invitingly her usual anxious and stressed atmosphere, gone, to which [Y/N] responded by carefully making her way and seating herself on her knee, wincing as the welts made contact with her leg.
"Oh, what has she done to you." Blue sounded surprised and morbid, her harsh eyes scouring [Y/N]'s body for injury.
[Y/N] looked upwards with watery eyes, Blue sighed dejectedly, her understated touch varying majorly to Yellow Zircons overzealous one.
The gem didn't speak, her movements no longer rushed, more silenced by the previous events she undeniably had knowledge about.
[Y/N] felt more unspoken tears slip out, the pain no longer subjecting her to the emotions she felt, more humiliation and frustration with herself for ever assuming Yellow Zircon could be anything other than a malicious enemy.
Blue Zircons fingers trailed through [Y/N]'s soft [h/c] hair as they expertly braided it, humming a gentle unrecognisable tune as she did.
[Y/N] breathed in and out, each breath becoming a struggle as she palpitated violently. She recoiled momentarily out of Blues reach, but ultimately missed the warmth she provided.
"It's, it's okay, [Y/N]." Blue murmured pitifully, [Y/N] melted into the kindly touch.
[Y/N] appreciated Blue Zircon. She was no doubt risking her ass to comfort [Y/N] in a time of need, need that had been inflicted by her superior Yellow Zircon.
Breathing in through salty tasting lips, [Y/N] finally managed to choke out a coherent sentence,
"Why do you stay here with her?"
"Y-yellow? Oh, um, I kinda have to." Blue's sleepy and calming body language turned to a more tense and turgid one.
[Y/N] recognised this from her briefly attended psychology lessons, as the signs of a liar. She wondered if lying stretched as far out in the galaxy as she was.
"Please, don't lie."
Those words wounded Blue, as she stared at [Y/N] as if in attempt to figure her out.
"We were made together. Around about the same time, she popped out a few years before-hand- of course making me mildly defective, but nonetheless I stuck around her because we had a platonic bond."
Blue explained, [Y/N] nodded along in understanding, Yellow had educated her on the formation of gems, from warriors to attorneys. [Y/N] understood the ranking system, the two Zircons fared very well in comparison to a common Ruby guard.
"Sh-she, she just, changed recently.."
[Y/N] nodded lethargically once more in response.
"If you wouldn't mind, I um, aha, have to treat your wounds."
[Y/N] blushed, she slowly, now filled with paranoia, turned on her stomach, the fresh formation of welts now an eyesore for Blue Zircon to gaze upon.
"My stars." Was the only speech [Y/N] could make out, as Blue grabbed something out of a cabinet and slammed it causing [Y/N] to convulse and whimper.
