Chapter 13

The Addams Family Values premiere was getting closer and closer. I didn't even notice how fast September had passed. It's the middle of October and the boys had gone to tour schools around the country. I was alone again. At least I had some friends to hang around with.

"Do you know when are they coming back?" I asked BJ one day when we were walking in a park next to my house.

"I have no idea." She replied.

"They will be here for Christmas, won't they?"

"I hope so." She looked at the sky.

"Who's your favorite actor?" I asked her one of a sudden smiling.

"Hmm..." She started thinking while looking up. "I like Johnny Depp a lot. And Leonardo DiCaprio too."

"I like them too." I said. "My favorites are Corey Feldman, Corey Haim, River Phoenix and Wil Wheaton."

"Oh, I know them!" She looked at me. "I've watched 'Stand By Me' with my mom."

"That's one of my favorite movies! Have you watched 'The Lost Boys' and 'Dream a Little Dream'?"

"Yes." She smiled. "I really liked them! Who's your favorite singer?"

"Michael Jackson!" I said right away.

"Wait, you are in his 'Black or White' music video, right?"

"Yeah actually." I chuckled.

"Wow!" She replied with her mouth wide open and I laughed. The fact that I was in my favorite singer's music video was a shock for me as well. I was so excited when he called my manager asking him if I could be in a part of it.

We talked all afternoon till we were tired and then went back home.

October was passing quickly and Halloween was just around the corner. I decided to dress up as Edgar Frog from 'The Lost Boys'. Bobby said that she is gonna dress up as a cat. We are gonna have a sleepover and a party at her house with some of her friends. I was pretty excited about it.

About 4pm on Halloween I started preparing myself for BJ's party. I put on my costume and put my pijamas, toothbrush, hairbrush and clothes into a bag.

"Mom! I'm going to BJ's house!" I shouted so my mom could hear me.

"Okay! But be careful while crossing the road!"

"Okay mom! Bye!"

"Have fun, sweetie!"

I closed the door and crossed the street. I walked for about seven minutes before I got to the Carters' house. I rang on the door and Bobbie opened it.

"Hey!" She greeted me. She had her cat costume on and looked very excited. "Come in! Make yourself home." She smiled at me and showed me where her bedroom was. I left my bag there and went into the living room where music was playing. Their garden was decorated very nicely. I bet everyone's gonna spend their time there.

"You must be Karla." A women said, who I suppose was Nick and BJ's mother.

"Yes." I smiled and shook hands with her.

"You can call me Jane." She smiled at me.

"Nice to meet you." I said.

About in an hour almost everyone was there. BJ invited her whole class and some other people from school that she knew. The Carters' house was full in no time with kids.

I got to meet Nick's other siblings. They were all so cute but at the same time a bit different from each other.

The party began and everyone was having a good time. I don't know how many sweets and junk food I've eaten that night but I know I ate a lot.

After midnight most of the kids were gone and Vicky, Andy, Jenna and I were the only guests left. We were staying in the Carters' house for the night.

We were laughing a lot and talking about different stuff. When it was very late we decided to go to sleep, not knowing what was happening in The Viper Room...
