A few months passed and November came. I've finished filming the last movie and I'm finally free till the rest of the year, well not really. I have a few interviews, but I usually enjoy being interviewed.
"Hey, Karla!" I heard Macaulay through the phone.
"Oh hi, Mac." I replied.
"Richie Rich is coming out on the 21st December. Wanna come?"
"Yeah!" I said excitedly. "But I have to asks my mom if I can, because it's close to Christmas."
"Oh yeah, no problem." Mac replied. "Just tell me when you've asked her."
"Okay. I'll call you later."
"Bye."
"Bye." I said and hung up.
I galloped down the stairs and went into the kitchen.
"Mom?"
"Yeah?"
"Richie Rich is coming out on the 21st December. Mac just called me and asked me if I wanted to go to the premiere. Can I go?"
"I don't know..." My mom started talking. "You know it's around Christmas time and we will probably be in Kentucky. The trip to Los Angeles is long." She put on a sad face. I really want to go, but I know my mom is not gonna let me. I just sighed to show her that I'm upset and annoyed at the same time.
"Okay." I said with my head down and went back to my room.
Since my parents' divorce and all that money problems the relationship between me and my mom has gotten worse. I was still upset with her because she knew that my father was buying all those things with my money. Even though she apologized, I lost a bit of respect for her.
Today me and my mom are alone at our house, because Brian is recording a song with the rest of the Backstreet Boys. I think it was called 'Anywhere for You'.
In my room I picked my phone and typed Mac's number. I sighed again as I waited for him to answer the call.
"Hello?"
"Hey Mac, it's me again." I said in a sad voice.
"You can't go to the premiere?" He guessed.
"Sadly." I agreed. "We are going to Kentucky to see our family and the trip to Los Angles is too long." I said imitating my mother's voice.
"Yeah, I understand." He said. "Well, you'll come to other premieres of mine."
"Yes, I'll make sure." I giggled. "Bye, Mac."
"Bye." He said and I hung up.
This day is boring so far. I don't know what to do with myself, no shooting, no interviews, no premieres... The only thing I can do right now is watch a movie and that's what I'm gonna do.
I looked at my shelf with movies trying to pick one. 'The Lost Boys', 'Stand By Me', 'Gremlins'... Finally I saw 'Dream a Little Dream' and decided to watch it. It is one of my all time favorite movies and I'm hoping to meet Corey Feldman and Corey Haim some day. They both star in the movie.
I quickly got down to the kitchen to get some water and chocolate upstairs. I always need to eat something while watching a movie. It's just a habit of mine.

'What is wrong with everybody nowadays? I mean, is there any love left in our universe, huh?'
'Shut up, Dinger!'
One of my favorite scenes from the movie was playing, which by the way is hilarious, but someone had to interrupt me.
"I'm back!" Brian said and entered my room. "Watching this movie again?" He looked at me and I watched him with an 'obviously' look on my face.
"It's so good!" I said. "You should watch it some day."
"Another movie about teens in high school. I know tons of them."
"It's not another movie about teens in high school. It's much cooler. There's this man called Colman that tries to control dreams, and that's Bobby" I said pointing to Corey Feldman who was just on the screen. "and Dinger." I pointed to the character played by Corey Haim. "So Bobby and this girl Lanie have an accident and Bobby gets-" I was really into telling the story line, but my brother cut me off.
"Okay, okay. Just don't spoil the movie."
"So you're gonna watch it?" I smirked.
"Maybe." He replied with a mysterious look.
I finished watching the movie and decided to go for a walk in the forest that was near my house.
