Christmas was getting closer and closer. I've already written the letter to Santa Claus. I ordered books and clothes. Brian came home yesterday and I'm so happy about it. Unfortunately they are going to tour schools again after the holidays end, but this time all over Florida.
A few days before Christmas we flew to Lexington. I was glad to be back in my home town. Kevin came this time with us too!
The eldest sibling of our family and my second brother Harold is going to come as well. The whole family is going over to our grandparents' house. I really don't know how we are all going to fit in there.
On Christmas Eve we all dressed up fancy and ate dinner together. I was waiting for next day's morning, because of the presents. Me and Brian were sharing a room. It had a double decker bed and I slept on the top.

"Hey!" I whisper yelled to Brian as my head was hanging down from the top of the bed. It was the next day - 25th December, and I was so excited to see my presents. "Wake up!" Brian just mumbled something and didn't even open his eyes.
I got down the ladder that led to the top of the bed and shacked his body.
"What do you want, Karla?" He asked a bit annoyed.
"Presents!" I told him and looked at the bags next to the bed. "Also there's our Christmas Stocking downstairs!" I said excitedly. Brian put a pillow over his face and I frowned.
"Get up!" I said and removed the blankets from his body.
"Give me those!" He mumbled but I thrower the blankets to the corner of the room.
"No." I replied and pulled his hand. He sighed and got up. I ran to the present packages and took them, guessing what may be hidden inside.

By the end of the day we had all unpacked our presents and eaten a lot of chocolate and other kinds of sweets.
I got a postcard from Nick and Bobbie with Christmas wishes. I sent them one a few days ago too.
I loved spending Christmas at my grandparents' house. It always felt amazing!

The holidays ended and it was the end of 1993. The Carters had invited me and Brian to sleep there, well not sleep because it was New Years and obviously we won't be sleeping.
Me and BJ watched the fireworks from her room, while the boys were in Nick'a room doing something. I can't believe it was already 1994. Year 1993 has passed so quickly.
Me and Bobbie had all kinds of sweets and chocolates in the room and some drinks. We played some music and talked about everything.
It was 3am and we were still awake, listening to music and eating chocolate.
"Let's play something." Said someone while entering our room. Me and BJ turned around to see Nick and Brian enter the room.
"What game?" I asked.
"I don't know." He replied.
"Let's play some video games." Suggested Brian.
"Why not." I replied and stood up, followed by BJ. We went into Nick's room and selected a game that we'll be playing.
At about 4:30am everyone was tired and we all ended up sleeping on the floor, without even realizing it.
